Yes, it's supposed to do that, it's how Gendou programmed it. This is for fun, no worries! :3

Yeah, the nodes try to move into a position that makes them look more "organized". Apparently, though, when it can't resolve its position within the system, the nodes expand and contract rapidly to move out of each others' way, making it look like it's having a spaz attack. I just thought they were pretty!^^ The more nodes it has, the more likely it is to do this, and I only made it up to 200 nodes before I couldn't keep up with it. Maybe we could turn this into a game... You know, see who can get the most nodes? It gets really hard when it starts flying around the screen. I know these are stills, but... Well, try it for yourself. |

Yeah! Here's what you do: 1. Go to the Gendou homepage. 2. Scroll down to the Buddy Network Visualizer link and click on it. 3. There should be one node (you). Since you have three friends, you can click your node three times, which will link you to their three nodes. Then, click their nodes to link to their friends, and so on. Eventually, you'll build a large structure. 4. Keep going until you get around 130. That's where mine started freaking out, but it'll only work if some of your friends are friends with your other friends. At about 185-190 nodes, the grid will just keep going and going and going... |

They weren't all that cool. My computer and i don't react that fast. I just took a lot of pictures and picked the ones I liked. Hmm... Apparently someone edited my first post. There's a link to the visualizer there now... |

maybe you need to install java(JVM) or update it if you already have one. it works for me I am using firefox. |
