 Ahaha, I just found this (Threads of Fate) again and while playing I went, “Wow, this could be what I'm looking for. :Oâ€. I've been trying to find something to do a voiceover/dub project with since I love trying to “actâ€, but of course I can't do 15+ characters on my own. So, I'm looking for fellow Gendou members to help me try and dub some of the cut-scenes of the game (and maybe the entire game, lol). I've already picked my role (rofl, sorry), so for a “test†project, I'm looking for people to play the roles above the first set of “---â€, and any description which starts with a "V" is how they should sound in my mind: And I'm no good with HTML tables, but here's something regardless:
Gameplay can be seen here. If you'd like to help with the project by giving a shot of voice acting / dubbing, please record your voice explaining which role you believe you can act and why. Upload that file to a website such as Putfile and link to it here. If may not get the role you desire, but I'm sure you're likely to get a role as I don't expect too many people till maybe we get something out. >_> EDIT: I'll try and post some lines of dialogue for each character at some point so I can hear you in context. xD Further, I'm trying to find someone that could maybe help me with the video syncing and such. I'm very patient, but not normally when it comes to stuff like this. >_> Also, I'm currently busy with school and such, so the time frame for all this will be long and could very well be delayed until summer, but I'd love to try and get something out sometime soon just to see how it would go. I think thats all I need to say, I'll edit with changes and whatnot later if needed. ~Terror (PS: Thanks again Gendou for fixing that gap issue. xD)

Sure, its a slow start anyways. Could you just try and get a small clip of your voice uploaded so I can hear it? :o BTW: Maya sounds young, but talks mature and little snotty-ish (being the next queen and all, lol).

Hearing the dubbing thing in your profile, I'm leaning towards Elena for you, but I would like to hear something in English and a little slower (there is a little less time pressure on this one, lol). I'm also gonna finish the list so I can think about people for later. >_>

I don't need a video, just an audio file. >_> If you want some lines for Elena (my suggestion), watch this video at 3:46 onward for some of her lines (pink hair, can't miss, lol). Also, don't mind timing it, just say the lines as you need to. :o

Haha Kanetsukis voice like so Chibi Wakakaka >.< lol this looks fun but i dont have anything to record voices Bleh Blah blahs. Also i dunno how to describe my voice lol~ Do you have any clips on Valen or Wylaf? O.O i want to see if i can tune my voice to be like theirs haha

Hey, this seems like fun. I don't really know the game. I looked at many playthrough videos. Belle seemed like a good character but since she's already taken [?] then I choose: Mode Master (Kirielle)looks interesting. I'd love to play her. I love Villains. If Ayu doesn't play Belle, I'd really like to play her!  |

@Kane: Sounds good, but I've been thinking maybe you'd fit Fancy Mel more than @Stel: Ayu hinted at being interested in possibly doing something with this, and I (despite not really remembering her voice from months ago...) thought she would be perfect for it. I haven't spoken with her about it 'officially', so we'll see on that. As for Mode Master, her role is limited if that makes a difference. How about you just record yourself talking and I'll try and place it. :o @Lacey: Well, as I've suggested to Kane, she might turn to Fancy Mel, so Elena may open up. You should also record yourself and I'll try and place it. @Stal and Lacey: I need one of the mains (to start), so I'm also trying to see if either of you might work as Mint. >_> I'm gonna test my ability to record the game soon, so maybe I'll upload some of Mint's story (since the videos I've found are of Rue's story). Mint is hilarious. xD @Blue: /why Go get a mic! xD I have no one besides me (and maybe Lat) for male voices. Valen is a powerful magician, talks down to others thinking he is the greatest. It's been too long since I've played, but I assume Wylaf to sound deep, old, and wise (which might require some voice editing, nothing against whomever does it). Of course, as I've said, I can do better if I hear your voice. >_> Mics are cheap nowadays. xD

From what I've seen of Mint, she should have a cute voice, so Lacey would be perfect for that and I would not xD. I don't mind how many lines I get, the less the better xD well, I tried out as Mode Master and that didn't sound to good, so I auditioned as Mira instead and it sounds . . .not to good as well lol. I promised I wouldn't let this see the light of day but . . . So yeah, sorry for the static, my mic isn't top-of-the-line by any means. My voice is suitable for, older females I believe. |
