transparent playlist for my blog site
Link | by on 2009-02-21 22:07:39
Can somebody here teach me what code should I place to make some of my playlist button transparent.
I want the skin I made for my playlist appear but the buttons covers some parts of the picture/skin of my playlist.
Can I make the play/pause/stop buttons transparent and also the thing which moves when the music starts to play, the one you adjust when you want to fast forward or rewind the song, that long bar thing (sorry I don't know the name of it.)
Pls. help me.
Thank you

You can't...But you can make the whole thing invisible by changing everything into height="2px" width="2px".

Thanks for the idea but my point is I want to show the customize skin I made...
What I'm trying to do is to make the buttons look invisible so that only the skin and the title of the song will be seen.

If you are using the standard windows media player in your playlist,
then you could not make it translucent... I think even
using scripts wouldn't do anything. (even css' alpha filter won't do)

however there are custom players out there that has this ability to go
translucent when your mouse isn't hovering on it... although you'll have to
find them in Google.

Unico: lol, 2px? how would the users use the playlist if they can't see it?

^ They can't use it xD.I'll just set them to auto-play and when they see my blog/webpage,only the music will play without the sight of the bulky imeem player.

unico: lol, though I like my users to see the songs that I have so that
they could choose... though, users tend not to use teh players in reality...
it's just something like decorations.. so I dun like the idea of placing it on
any of my pages.

Yeah some people like me only use music as a decoration and not show people my playlists are. Some may ask me "Why not use a scripted music code?" my answer would be that scripted music quality is reduced & I prefer high-quality music. xDD
