Eve no Jikan

Anyone seen this anime? 「イヴã®æ™‚間〠"Time of Eve"... It's very good. One 15-minute episode comes out every two months or so, but since the staff is so small, the next episode won't be released until APRIL 2009!!!  The animation is unbelievably well done, and the script, too... at least one  moment every few minutes.Those of you who know who Yasuhiro Yoshiura (the creator) is will be stunned and in awe to see this masterpiece of a success. Hmm, to copy another site's summary: The future, probably Japan. Robots have long been put into practical use, and androids have just come into use. Influenced by the Robot Ethics Committee, it’s become common sense for people to treat androids like household appliances. Their appearance (indistinguishable from humans except for the ring over each android’s head) has lead some people to empathize unnecessarily with androids. Known as “android-holics,†such people have become a social problem. Rikuo, a high school student, has been taught from childhood that androids are not to be viewed as humans, and has always used them as convenient tools. One day Rikuo discovers some strange data in the behavior records of his family’s household android. Rikuo and his friend Masaki trace Sammy’s movements, only to discover a mysterious café that features a house rule that “humans and robots are to be treated the sameâ€... yeah i saw this anime and though its pretty short...it's pretty interesting... with servant/androids being more of a commodity than a companion/helper... robots/androids were usually portrayed in such manners but not like this...i mean with the new generation treating them as everyday items despite their "human" looks... kinda reminds me of bicentennial man XD |

omg this anime is dang coool!! i reaally love it! XDDD the animation is outstanding! just watched up to ep4 before i saw this thread...^^ i thought the series is out up to ep6 now...XDD dunno it's still on-going... >.>    |
