nuh uh!!! it will take forever to state all the reasons but i tell you this.. chii's voice is so gay [no offense =*] for those who also hate animax dubbing.. go to www.animaxdubbed.tk u know what to do and if u may please.. pls click related links from the same site... also.. go to.. www.animax-asia.com and go to 'contact us' and send protests like 'we hate animax dubbing' and such... pls also go to www.axn-asia.com and go to 'contact us' and send protests like 'we hate animax dubbing' as many as you can there is a possibility that they will truly bring back the english subtitles because they already did it on saiyuki reload thank you for your cooperation

| I dont know much about Animax but I dont like anime being dubed. Why, the simple reason is that the voice actors of dubed anime dont really match the characters. Originals r still the best. Thats why people keep saying "buy originals only". |

^_^ I honestly don't like dubbed versions of anime shows. I prefer having the characters speak in Japanese and have english subtitles instead. Besides, listening and watching the original version is one way we can learn the Japanese language right? |

i dont like dubbed versions since from my point of view (not to insult any dub ppl) Sub versions sound better, cause sometimes, the sound effects are even dubbed and it just makes it even more crappier than it is. Plus it dub insults me cause subs actually help me read faster in newspapers and books and helps me alot. i think dub is to compensate people who cant read fast or dont know how to read (illiterate)

| guess animax had to give in to the protests thrown to them over the dubbing issue, eh. wish this is the start of dumping the dubs and bringing back subs. i mean, just listen to the jap voice actors and compare them with the dubbers' voices. |

no offense to the dubbed lovers but gendou is right, english dubbing sucks bigtime. I've seen many anime became crap after what english dubbing has done to them.  |

cause its easier to open the tv than to look for it on the net and wait for it to finish downloading (which sometimes takes hours for some people)

right now..., anything is better that animax dubbing!!! i'd really prefer their subbing no matter how bad it was translated.

thats cause animax was using subs before then switched to dub after acouple of months so most of us already experienced subs of animax

This is one of my fav topic!! Personally, I like japanese sub the best!! English dub dissappoints me (dun lemme start wit Animax!)My reason is coz: 1)Since animes r Japanese, it's better to hear d original version. 2)Eng. sub r pathetic esp when it comes to period anime like Rurouni Kenshin&eacemaker. Anime like these hav no place for English. 3)English seiyuu r less passionate n emotional, sumtimes they fail to "give live" to d charactrs.

yeah, HaNNa luvs SanO is right.... i prefer the original.. i like animes in their japanese versions.. i'm kinda disappointed with animax at first when they dubbed their animes... thank god they didn't dubbed gto.. hehhehe  |

Maybe we just hate english subs and love japanese voices bec we don't fully understand what they're saying. Don't u think so? The fact that we don't understand japanese grammar, pronunciation, and the way of mixing emotions with communication etc... may be the reason why we can easily create our own image, perception, idea with the personality of the characters. Based on my experience, I hate some (or many) English subs and some Filipino subs but I like all Japanese voices.

It was too complicated for me what Heaven'sCloudt said, but 1 of the reasons i dont watch animes is english because i dont understand english very well =P |
