I study aboard in japan for 6 weeks last summer. Japan was awesome. Best summer I ever had! Tokyo was just amazing. It took my breathe away. My plane landed during sunset so as we were crossing the rainbow bridge the sun was setting. It felt amazing! Um, the people I went with, we stayed at this ridiculously expensive hotel so our stay there was amazing. Shibuya at night is like NYC Time Square in the afternoon! Everyone was still out at like midnight. haha there was some serious partying going on though. The trains were crowded until the very end and yes there are drunk guys on them. We also went to the palace and the american embassy which was pretty nice. Tokyo overall was amazing. I want to go back soon!

After tokyo I stayed at Tokushima on Shikoku. It's in the country side, but my stay there was pretty kicking to. I went to school, hangout, friends, etc.
My family was nice enough to take me to Kyoto. Kyoto is the historical city but the temples and everything there is beautiful! There's a lot of tourism so a lot of ganji(not japanese people) food and stores. The malls in kyoto is pretty good too. It's very hilly so if you ever go to kyoto make sure you wear your hiking shoes! (in the temples i felt like i was in a movie! it was so pretty!)

That was all the places I got to travel in Japan. But i'm going back soon (hopefully!) I think the pics online doesn't represent Japan to it's fullest. It's amazing when your there. Everything is different and wonderful. I love the ramen stands! Everyone there is polite and really nice. I left my camera n wallet in my bike's basket one time and when I came back it was still there! Talk about crime rates!

I hope this helps! :)
