need help...i don't know what topic i should start with in learning the language. any "lesson plan" you could suggest, just to give me an idea? Anything will be highly appreciated. And if I do start learning Japanese, will my English suffer?

Hi, I dunno if this would help you up, but, maybe you can make use of the following site to looking for good study materials: www.thejapanesepage.com There's also files that help you to pronounce the words. I'm also learning my japanese from that site too. Happy learning, mi-chan

thanks! i've visited the site and i'm starting on my hiragana. someone also suggested this site about the stroke order in writing hiragana: http://www.umich.edu/~umichjlp/Hiraganapro/index.html Hope you find it useful!

| lolz. I have a hiragana book at home but I'm too lazy to start learning and I when I want to learn; there's no time. Maybe during the summer I'll learn it. That and katakana too. |
