what do guys really think of girls?

| It seems as though guys are normal humans like what human are....but um well once you actually get near them they just seem to be so weird. And then you don't know what is going on. But you guys were friends and you seemed to like eachother, but there was some sort of tension. I dunno. Do guys think of girls like regular ol' people who are just there, or do they think that girls are aliens?, or are girls just there to make out with, or are they ther to do your chores?, or even to be their mom. What is going on with people? |

I'm a guy, and I see and treat girls as normal human beings. They're not there just to satisfy "male desires". I have to admit that I do help out girls more than guys; for instance, if a girl needs money for something, I'll likely give her money. If a guy needs money, I'd be more hesitant. It's not that I'm acting as a "sugar daddy", I just hate seeing female friends in trouble. If I thought I liked a friend of mine, and she liked me back, then that'd possibly qualify as an opportunity for a deeper relationship. However, if knowing that we liked each other and she expresses some tension or doubt, then I'd assume she's not ready for a relationship. There's one female friend that I've liked for... 6 years, and we still talk. I haven't told her about my feelings because I'm scared of her feeling awkward around me; I'm just content being able to talk to her =] Anyways, I've gone off-topic. You're asking and bringing up different types of girls here, which are endless. In general, I think it's obvious I love girls... a lot! :P Are you having some sort of problem with a friend?

I have alot of friends who are girls, but I treat them all the same, just a bit nicer than guys. girls imo are easier to talk to about all things regarding the drama that we call life. ask a guy for the same advice, and in my experience they'll often give you a stupid answer, unless they also hang around with girls alot.

What are we supposed to think of girls? Chattel to be traded as one pleases, or founders of the world, a la "The hand that rocks the cradle..."? In ancient times they used to think very highly of girls. All natural religions (eg. Shinto) had female deities in a dominating position. But the introduction of patriarchal ways of thinking changed their position and brought them into their current "wives, moms, and sex dolls" state.  --> |

I disagree with your statement. up until the later half of the 20th century, men in general thought of women as being subservient to men. this holds true for many western societies; but in today's times it's only to a limited extent. there are guys out there who still think girls are supposed to serve men, but not as much. In muslim countries, it's a part of their culture, and religion, to think that way. the media has made it so that if you're not a slut, you're not hot, and nobody will like you -____- i swear, everytime I look at a music video on mtv.... on the individual level, there are guys like me who think of girls as friends, potential lovers, etc. I do think that girls are better suited to tasks than guys are, and vice versa.

@ w00t0s: seriously???? (that you're a girl)? adding more: some guys think about how pretty a girl is. sure, a hot body gets their attention at times, but only for a split second. a pretty face will keep us enchanted, and the personality locks us in. there are some of us guys who've said that looks don't matter. well that's a lie. we'd have to be partially attracted to a girl in some way. the correct saying would be more along the lines of "looks don't matter, but they do play a factor". which in my opinion is reasonable. I'm sorry if this branched waaay off-topic but usually topics like this tend to float toward the love/romance/crushin' thing.

Whoa... Girl is an alien? I thought it is only at the film... or anime hehehe... anyway I think girl is of course an ordinary human too... but ze diferent is that their Chromosome---I'm not too good at biology though.... And make it simple... It is not a big thing so that we can say them as aliens.... it is only to differ their ability. just like when we still say Uubah-uubah guys and womens job are different based on their common ability which is: =>Guys hunting =>Women Cooking But they have almost the same right so even the oldest human have known that women are Humans too. On some research there have been told that women have a gens or hormone I forgot... that make them easy to cry, while guys don't have any... though guys could cry too if they would. So, based on that I believe that Girls ARE Human....

@w00t0s Never mind. well of course they are humans like every body else. though, just like Generic Asian guy said, I kind a like, act nicer around girls. Probably just human nature or something. man seeks woman, woman seeks man, though not always. It's not exactly something I think about, until you asked, it just happens. other than that, I treat everyone I meet pretty much the same weather it's a boy or girl. well if it's some one special it's gets a bit tense at first. @RayStorm I agree with you looks does a have an affect. Indeed personality is what keeps me interested. and that whole hot thing I also wondering why does it always has to be like that. end note: this question got me thinking about relationships and a few past events. -_- hmmmmm |

Hmmm. Specifically,if you are mainly referring on how guys would think of the opposite sex. My answer would be that guys would be slightly more tender when meeting the opposite sex than meeting another person of the same gender.And the 'nervousity'[if there is such a word? o.0] would also increase when meeting the opposite sex. I would think of girls as normal human being.But I would treat her more tender than I treat a guy.And of course my 'nervousity' goes up. =)     |

In my opinion, first of all, girls should be treated the same way as how boys are treated. And, in my point of view, I think girls are okay. There are different types of girls; I like girls who are quiet, poised and know how to carry themselves, and they also shouldn't be pompous. I don't like girls who are sassy and noisy. And and and, I also don't like girls who are nosy. :P Girls are not there to do our chores. If you're a man, it doesn't change the fact that you still need to clean up your mess. I love my mom very much, btw. XD |

If what you mean about going easy go on defensive no attacks. maybe yes. I'm not the violent type anyway. But if she knows how to fight I'll probably retaliate with equal force. I kinda like strong women as long as they don't grow bulky muscles and all. XP |
