Hello again. Has anyone here tried to use an xbox 360 controller with their pc? I've installed the microsoft driver for this a controller. I've plugged in my controller, but nothing's registering. I'm completely lost on this one. OS: Win XP home Both controllers are wireless and my pc is not, but I have a charge and play wire for one of them. WinXP detected the charge and play and installed it, so I don't think that's the problem. I was also wandering how hard it would be to set up wireless controllers with a nic or wireless card. Thanks for the help. |

Read the instructions in this link http://www.copying-xbox-games.com/networking-xbox.php I don't like XBOX, but we just tried to connect the XBOX to the PC using a RJ45 LAN Cable and connect it though a Wireless Routher. |

The controller works fine once I plugged it in to a PC to test out my XBOX application... It might be because I have XNA Game Studio 2.0 installed. So if you dont have that (most likey not) try this guide: http://www.xbox.com/en-AU/support/xbox360/accessories/wiredcontroller.htm |

Actually, I do have that installed. I'm going to take a few whacks at it once I finish my programming course. XNA has a controller interface built into it I think, but it still doesn't work for my n64 emulator. I've found a usb reciever for wireless controllers. Its the exact same reciever in the 360, just made for plugging into pcs, so all is well now. Thanks for the assist. |
