Plot: Due to an odd virus, Children with cat ears and cat tails have been born. These children have been called Nekomimi. Not much is known about the Nekomimi, but all of them posess a power that they find sometime in their lives, Some Nekomimis have been known to discover their power at 5 years old, Some 50. The Nekomimi species were sent to fulfill only one destiny - Outlive all humans. Many Nekomimi come in peace, but others wish to fight... All the usual rules apply. Able to commune with ghosts (current) and can open the "third" eye (later) Discovered power?: Presently not known, but is born with the power to talk to ghosts and hear them (although he still cant see them).

Weapon or fighting style(If any): Magic Power: It seems that she's capable of very powerful magic of all kinds, using many elements in a single spell, but due to asthma and general poor health she's often unable to recite powerful spells. She usually only casts simple spells. Discovered power?: revealed and known since she's 16 (her real age), but it costs her unable to age physically.  |

Wears her hair in a ponytail that goes down her back. She waers a grey sleeveless shirt and pants with a skirt over the right side. Species:Earth Nekomimi Personality:Loud and short tempted, yet very kind and gentle Weapon: Steel claws X2 fighting style:Natural Instincts and tsubomijustu Power: control over floral life and high speeds Discovered power?:Only the high speed part Kurei flies down the street in her new imported Dodge Challenger SRT8 while looking around town. "Man, This car got some power behind it...But...it's still could be faster." Kurei looks back and see the police is behind her. "Man!" She pulls over and rolls down the window. "Can I help you?"

Kyo was walking around the trading district looking for some goods to buy. As he stopped on one shop, the owner looked at him and said with an arrogant air: "We don't make business with you freaks!" Kyo didn't pay attention to him and kept looking whatever interested him, until the shopkeeper pushed him. "Did you listen? GET OFF MY SHOP!" Kyo just took a look at the guy who was yelling, attracting the attention of the public and without a word, turned around and moved away. The shopkeeper felt that he was ignoring him and got really angry. "YOU DAMN FREAK!! DON'T LOOK DOWN ON ME!" As he hit Kyo, he just let a little laugh escape, but at the next instant, his happiness was gone, Kyo was glaring at him as if his punch was nothing. But again, without a word, Kyo turned to another shop and started looking at anything that interested him leaving the shopkeeper yelling alone: "Y-YOU BETTER RUN! OR ELSE I'D GIVE YOU ANOTHER ONE!!" But as he yelled he kept holding his hand, Kyo's face was unscratched but the shopkeeper's hand had a bruise.

[Bookstore] Kenji stood looking at a book shelf and had two books in his hands. "I dunno..I wanna buy two of these but..." he said as he looked at the price.He sighed as he knew he would be out of food money if he bought the two books. "Damn it...I gotta get a job." he said as he put the much more expensive book of the two back in the book shelf. "Well..No use being depressed about it." he said as he went to the counter.As he was about to pay the saleslady was smiling in an awkward manner. "Hmm? Is something wrong,Miss?" Kenji said as he looked at her. "Well..Uhm..." she said as he pointed at a sign on the counter that said "No Nekos allowed" Kenji merely looked at the sign and looked at her. "Well what does it matter?" he said as he flashed her a smile. The clerk blushed furiously as he saw the smile. "O-ok! Just for you!" she said as she accepted Kenji's money "Thanks." he said as he stepped out of the shop. [Park] Kenji sat on a bench and sighed. "All the salesladies I find are a sucker for my smile..Must be my charm..Well..Anyway.." he thought as he started to read the new book he bought. |

Rin: *sigh* be quiet will you people...this is a library, not a market... rin goes to the staff Rin: So...here are the books. Staff: Right away Rin-san. *whisper* By the way are you working today? Rin: Maybe later though...there's so many people here. i don't want to cause a chaos... Staff: don't worry. i know not all nekomimi are bad...at least, not you. Rin: Heh...thanks? *whispers* i'll come back to work later, through the back...see you. Rin heads out...when suddenly someone bumps into her. Man: WATCH IT YOU LITTLE BEAST FREAK!!! Rin: ... *stares* Staff: *slams desk* THIS IS A LIBRARY! SHUT UP...OR ELSE! All: ... Man: Then you're telling me these monsters like her are allowed? [Park] Ayoko was just walking around the park when she said a little boy's kite stuck in the tree. All the bystanders were looking at her. "Hm.. what's the matter?" She saked him. The little boy, crying over and over didn't bother to look at Ayoko, but just anwser her instead. "M-M-M-My k-ki-ki-kite" The little boy continued to sob over and over. "Well then mabe with just the right, wind is all your kite needs." She smiled as she told him that, and as soon as she had said that a huge gush of wind came in and out. The little boy's kite was no longer stuck inside the tree, when he opened his eyes to thank Ayoko, he couldn't think of any words. "Um......." Ayoko gave the boy a smile, "No need to worry about" She winked over at him and continued down the park's path. "It's that freak" "A neko right?" "What did she do?" Ayoko didn't mind them, she was different she enjoyed it. She stopped in back of the bench Kenji had on sat. Curisouly she started poking him on the top of his head, for no apparent reason. |

[Park] Kenji was reading his newly brought book when he felt an increase in the air and was about to reach for his tarot cards on his back pocket when he saw a kite fly. "Tch..thought it was a hostile action..Im getting paranoid.." he thought as he went back to reading. Suddenly a somebody started to poke the back of his head.He choose to ignore it.But it continued. He sighed and shook his head he thought "Somebody doesn't want me to read today...." then leaned his head back and saw a young neko girl. "Wadda ya want? Don't you know its not nice to poke your elders on the back of the head when they're reading something?" he said as he looked at her. "Not that I mind it but your lucky I wasn't some aggressive person." he said as he went back to reading and he moved over so that she could sit next to him. "Sit down and tell me what you want.I don't want you to poke my head again." he said as he turned a page. |

OOC: o.o kenji knows me? sorry been aways for a really long time =( sry if i dun remember eu T.T Amarine had been born blind with a strong sense of the supernatural and he was able to commune with ghosts but he could not see them. His parents, both, who were of human blood were killed by street thugs a long ago because of him and he was left alone to fend for himself when he was seven. No matter what it was, back then, Amarine would do it to survive. Since young he had been in many fights just to survive and through these fights he learnt about his ability to commune with the dead. At first it was creepy and people.....people who he did not know......could not see...... they all treated him the same way..... as a freak. They never tried to speak with him other than the constant insults and hurting comments that would flow from their mouths with no end to it. Being able to speak with the departed didn't help either. There were always two kinds of spirits, one being those that disliked him for being a nekomimi and those who were sympathic towards him. Care for only yourself and everything will work out just the way you want it too. This was his motto. At first even though Amarine did not see his parents assailents, he did know that they were human from what they said, his parents had helped him escape death at that time but Amarine suffered in silence for a long time. He had always despised and hated humans for what they were, what they had done and most importantly, what they could not accept. So what if he had cat ears and a long tail? What difference did it make? His parents were humans and if they accepted him for what he was then why could the rest of the human race do the same? Instead he was shunned him like some unwanted pest. How would they feel if they were in his place? Amarine long pondered this. As he walked through the streets of Tokyo, even though he could not see, he could feel eyes gazing and staring at him. The feeling pierced his very soul and made him feel uncomfortable. He increased his pace and continued walking but as he reached the outside of a library, he bumped into someone. Without any warning, the person just hit him in the face. Amarine staggered backwards and leaned against the wall of the library behind him. The commotion had caused many people to crowd around, and there were many insults being hurled at Amarine. The man stepped infront of Amarine and pulled him by the collar. As the man leaned closer, Amarine could smell the heavy smell of beer around the man. The man spoke in a very hoarse voice. And Amarine decided he was drunk and he decided the best course of action now was to apologise in order to avoid any unwanted trouble. Amarine: Erm.....could you let go of me? I am sorry for bumping into you so would you kindly let go before someone gets hurt? I do not want any trouble here..... Man: Heh......you damn freak.....you think you...you..are all cool just because you are different and that you can get away with this??? *hiccups* We...Well I tell you i hate your k-kind and i am go..ing to give you a world...of hurt....*Hic*.... Amarine: Well frankly i don't know if i look cool or not because I am blind......however I do know that you are drunk and i have already apologised so why don't you accept as i did not do that intentionally........ so i will repeat this one more time please let go before someone gets hurt...... Man: D-damn you! I'll show you not to mess with me freak! *clenches fists* Prepare yours- Before the man had completed his sentence, Amarine had turned around and twisted the man's hand and tossed him over his shoulder like a rag doll. As the man hit the floor, he let out a small groan and his eyes rolled upwards as he sunk into a state of unconciousness. With that Amarine took a few steps forward as the crowd of people backed off and got out of his way. As he walked off, some people shouted at him while others whispered among themselves. Amarine heard the word "freak" being shouted at him, and even though it hurt, he had grown used to it. As he felt his way towards the back of the library where he could cut through the busy streets and have a few moments of peace to clear his head, he felt a tug on the sleeve of his jacket. Boy: Hey mister. What you did back there was cool! You sure taught that man a lesson. He shouldn't hate people because of their appearances. Not all people are like him. I have many friends who want to make friends with nekomimis but our parents dont let us.......... either way just know that i want to be like you when i grow up! Keep it up! Amarine smiled as the boy ran off. And he thought.... maybe not all humans are bad after all..... OOC: Er....sorry if my post is abit long winded.......if anyone doesn't like it i will change my future posts. thx =)

The police officer walks up to Kurei. "Get out of the car,freak. You're under arrest for speeding." Kurei gets out. "But the speed limit is 55MPH on this street, right?" The police smiles at her. "Yes. You were going 57MPH. That's excessive speeding when you're one of those cat freaks. Now, Hands-" Before he arrest her, the officer get a robbery call and is force to leave. "I'll get you next time." the officer floors the gas and leaves Kurei in a cloud smoke and burnt rubber. Kurei chokes a little on the smoke. "I'm hating this more and more." She gets back in her car and starts to drive away.
