avatar creator: the picture does not preview. why?

when i try to upload a picture to avatar creator, it will not preview, all i see is a box with an X in it. Any suggestions what i should do? Also when i try to use an avatar in my nickname, i see the same thing. can you help me?
Life is short... don't waste it foolishly like me...

what browser do u use? if IE be sure to check the 'show pictures' box in the internet options. (tools - internet options - advanced - multimedia - show pictures) if u're using firefox check the 'load images automatically' box. (tools - options - contents - load images automatically)   |
