Red Alert 3

Anyone got this game yet?

It seems that it is less overpowered than Red Alert 2(where advanced tanks beat the crap out of everything, and heros are absolute army stoppers). However since most units have a skill its quite hard to get used to it at first (kept forgetting to switch out to shotgun mode for peacekeepers). But once mastered it can be very useful (i like athena cannon's temp shield with mirage tanks, its like the old prism tank + mirage tank combination).

Haven't got this game 'yet', but so looking forward to it. Thankfully the game requirement is not as high as Far Cry 2's, considering my ancient pc condition.

I checked out the trailers and wiki, wow the game looks pretty amazing. As a fan of Command & Conquer games, can't wait to get this game. Prism tank + mirage tank? Sounds cool!

And I thought I've already 'abide' by the rules of signature.

Theres no more prism tanks D: They are more or less replaced by Athena Cannons, which are long range units that links to an orbital satellite to fire beams at a target. Not as crazy as prism, but serves well in its anti building function since its a 1.4k tank. And mirage tanks' shots can be split like prisms tanks, and their secondary function allows them to function as mobile gap generators, therefore they come at a really high price at 1.6k per tank. Ouch.

I still like the soviets the most. APCs that can launch infantry units, V4 launchers that has a wide AOE, and the Apocalypse are back! <3 They lack anti air, but is still the strongest land unit (I hate the mech, slow and cant do much damage). Not to mention that Natasha's actress is hawt. And can whip my ass anytime. XD

Heck yeah Apocalypse *shakes fist* Yeah that tank is a mean machine but I still cannot use it in campaign though. Still at Von Esling Airbase and blasting the crap out of Allies. The secondary feature is cool and makes that particular unit becomes more powerful or more defensive. For example the Flak Trooper can throw AT mines which can turn the tanks into a scrap metal while the Hammer utilizes the Scavenger beam(?) to steal another tanks armor and gun, makes it more powerful.

Yeah and I also feel that RA3 wasn't that solid anymore( techno/electro the musics wasn't that loud and the sound effects wasn't cool *remembers how loud the booms and bangs in RA2* )

The graphics is darn beautiful especially the sea (and yeah I built my base on the sea!). You will see the wreckage of ships below the depths of the water. It's marvelous when you play RA3 in Ultra High (sadly my rig can't allow me do this)

That's all for my messages and good day Commander!

Regards from the USSR Comrade General.
