Well... i suppose not much watched the series. I'd like to hear the opinion of those who saw it. And what i'm really interested in - how much you understood. As for mine opinion - the beginning(first about 8 episodes) was fine, but the more it approached the end - the weirder it became. Especially the latest episodes, where those cow girls appeared... it makes no sense to me. And that anime was HELL PERVERTED. Toune's use of Melos alone i'd grade as 18+. |

Hahaha.I'll agree its perverted but its not 18+ in fact the age limit is 13+.I watched this anime long time ago.Overall I rate this anime 6/10.The storyline is comprehendable but on the other hand, the bad guys except solomon are lame.Espiacially with the annoying phrase "Viva Monster Union".THis anime its not worth to watch but if you feel like killing time watch it. |

I really never got what's it really about... (I mean the deeper meaning, I dun think it has one...or am I just being slow???) anyways... Since the art wasn't nice The bows might be nice to see at first, but then... teh other stuffs would make you lose interest. erk.. 18+? I didn't really felt it... :D It's just like watching a sooooo lesser Evangelion. and like what FG said, it's not really worth to watch unless: 1. You want to kill time. 2. This is what you like. 3. You have no choice. ;D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, me saying it's 18+ is a form of speech in a way :D As for opening music - i agree, the song was great. The drawing was okay, or rather nice, but it alone can't make this show normal :D And what do you mean the bad guys were lame?! I agree about stupid monster unions, but there was a very cute Medusa! And Minotaur was kinda okay(although undressing that guy at the very first episode was kinda yaoish of him :D) |

hmm melody of oblivion huh... i gotta agree with moggle here... its very perverted!hahaha one of the fighters (with the arrow on her thigh) looked like she was about to *ehem* or in ecstasy when she activated her powers... well if not lame, the monsters were pretty generic... overall it was very confusing...it was interesting at first, then it became confusing and towards the end it became a big WTF. its pretty average if you asked me. though there were some cool scenes and all but still..you can do better other shonen anime |

I'd say Melody of Oblivion had too much fan service, that's why it's very distracting at times. But plot-wise, it's so-so. But most of all, I found Melody of Oblivion to be the weirdest sh*t I've ever seen. The bad guys really had to wear like a two-piece with a little armor, EVERYTIME! LAME! And what's up with the karaoke part in one episode. I hated the yellow-haired girl. That's it. The only character I kinda liked was Coco. Anyhow music-wise, the ending song is pretty soothing, so I have no complaints with the music. It's soothing sack of cake. |
