Fate/Tsukihime RP question

Well, this is not an RP, but it's RP related. So i thought this would be the best place to put this thread, as nonRPers wouldn't care much. So, the question is: I'm planning to create an RP on Fate/Tsukihime world, but upon thinking about it - there're probably people, who wouldn't accept such an rp, because it's like an amateur, violating good story. Come to think of it, i'm thinking this way as well. However, if the story's far from both Fate and Tsukihime, but uses the same world and maybe some references to the original stories, i'm thinking this may be accepted. So, what i'm asking is - would it be okay, to create such an RP, or do you think it's better not to try? If you'll decide it's okay - i'll start thinking about it more seriously, but if you'll oppose it - i won't even try. Well, shortly speaking, i'm asking permission of Fate/Tsukihime fans to start this one. Oh, and of course suggestions are welcome too. |

I guess it'll be alright... But it should be standalone and not just some sort of mix of Fate and Tsukihime... I'll join this one if it ever gets started! ^^

I like Fate but... I didn't get to watch much Tsukihime... which leaves me kinda not knowing that plot that well. I wonder if people like me (who dunno the story that well) are able to join in this RP if it gets started~  |

Huge fan of Type moon here XDD. Nice Idea you have there, I Was planning to make one, but in the end I never did. Toss Kara no Kyokai inside and I'm in XDD Rofl, Nah, either way Im in.. Hmmm... Yeah It'd be nice if it's not related storywise be it from KnK, Tsukihime or FSN... Nice... Some ideas would be including the type of the char. What will he/she be? A Magus (Can summon servants), Dead apostle, True Ancestor, Gifted humans (Just like Nanaya clans), Half Demon, Sorcerer (The difference between magus and sorcerers are sorcerers cant summon servant, For example, Aozaki tohko from Kara no Kyokai or Aozaki Aoko from Melty blood) More Suggestions to be added XDD Im going to invite another type moon fan here  |

What you have thought, my friend, is a concept of crossover fanfic RP, of course it's okay, I create those kind of RP too ^^ RP is meant for all to join, it doesn't matter if you don't know the original storyline (in case of anime or fanfic RPs), what matters is to pay attention to the current RP storyline so you'll be fine engel ^^ In fact, I haven't watched Fate or Tsukihime at all ^^ but count me in if the RP has finished

@Engel: Well, the plot'll be different, so the only part for those who don't know about Tsukihime is that they're limited from playing vampires. @Dark: As you said - i don't plan to relate it to the original plot. @H: Well, the general explanations will be in the first post, so it'll be for you to read then :) @Renma: Kara no Kyokai's kinda... hard, because i haven't read it yet. But if i'm correct it doesn't explain much more over what's explained from FSN and Tsukihime. As for playing True Ancestors - that'd be impossible, as Arcueid's the last of them. Also, in FSN Intro, Rin stated that there are only three sorcerors, so you're limited from playing them too. But, aside from those two, those classes are okay. Magus Dead apostle Gifted Humans Humans(Maybe someone'd like to play just an ordinary human, like Arihiko) Half Demon Familiar(Who knows... maybe there are other fans of Len, aside from me) Mythical Creatures(but those'd require approval. Because it's still not decided what kind of creatures can exist there. Once again, in her explanation of Servants, Rin mentioned dragons, so maybe there are others. I think as long as they are types, that can disguise themself as humans - it's okay) Oh, and i'll start thinking of the plot now. But until i'm done - please add suggestions about it. For example, location, time(probably present days, but maybe some kind of past). |

Hee... is just that in normal RP all I have to do was to follow the storyline... but I'm worried if there's a use of more technical/exist only in particular anime stuff, I might not be able to follow~ But it'll be nice to have Kara no Kyoukai.... the special eyes XD But I think...like moggle mentiones, it doesn't explain that much compared to the other 2~ |

@Moggle No no no, I mean like The story really doesnt related at all, but it has all of the type moon legends (nasuverse legends) Such as the Dead apostles that arises from True ancestors etc, but it could be related like the post event after the Grail war and the Night of wallachia (Melty blood). I'd suggest for you to adding alignments. True ancestors (Alignments with Dead apostles = Hostile, Neutral = Good, Church = Suspicious) Church (Alignments with Dead apostles = Hostile, Neutral Good, True ancestors = Hostile) Neutral (Alignments with Church = Good, Dead apostle = Hostile, True ancestors = Suspicious) More? I Dunno? And oh, regarding about the true ancestors.. Since it's not related at all, we can all make Arcueid is not the last true ancestor right? XDD It's to even things up, since Church alone is not capable of handling the dead apostles by themselves |

@Renma: Like a parallel world? Yeah, i think it's a good idea. As well as those alignments. Well, that'll probably take time to think of plot and various stuff, so until then, i'd hope for more suggestions. @Engel: I'll do my best for the RP not to depend on the original story as much as possible. |

Thanks Moggle! Cause I'll have lotsa trouble with a RP if it were to be of a anime/story not known to me. >_< I'll be waiting for the official release of the RP then! ^_^ |

Well, i wrote the most of it, the only remaining part is the plot. I can do it plotless, as usually, so we'll think of plot as time passes, or i can think of a story. However, if it's a story - i can't get much of ideas so far. The thing i can think of so far is an appearance of some cult or something. The best way i think would be to write a beginning of the story, some fact and think of the details as we progress. So far, the only fact i can think of is "The people are disappearing at night without a trace." |

If it's a good guy vs bad guy - that's present too. What i'm planning is some kind of cult as bad guys. If anyone have any idea how the story, or the beginning should go like - please tell me, because i have problems with it. Well, to make a plot's not hard, but most of them are too simple and old. |

If you're going for some kind of cult as bad guys, how about giving them some kind of unique/strange abilities or magic? Maybe even summons, these are just random ideas of mine.. Anyway, will the story be secretive like FSN? As in the whole Holy Grail War, servant and master being unknown to most ordinary people. Or will 'it' be known by them? Whatever it may be. If you choose to go with that, there should be some type of group as good guys. Btw, long no see renma and especially moogle ^^. How are you two doing?

Well, if it's me - i'm always okay. Well, we were here all along and it was you, who disappeared :) Anyway, as you said, i'm planning to give them some kind of abilities. And of course it would be secretive, as otherwise would be not so interesting... and i'd have to think of everything right away :D I'm not sure about the group of good guys, i think it should be various individuals, like in Tsukihime. Anyway, thanks for the post. I'll try to make that RP today... i mean, i already have it ready - all that remains is a story and character-creation form :) |
