Yea, I found out I'm just using the same spice on pretty much anything, anyone wanna share some really good spices, not just spices I suppose, anything to flavor easily, (like hot sauce etc.) I want to see what kind of answers and flavors I can get from this.  |

Have you ever tried Adobo? It's a Spanish spice and it is great for seasoning meat. |

Although this is not a spice, Bojangles' special seasoning on their fries are AMAZING! I've also seen Asian Five-Spice powders used on the Food Network Channel a lot. Rubs for grilling meet (steak, flank, ribs, etc.) are pretty good as well. Mostly from those, you make up your own creation with various ingredients.

yeah i'm agree with that Indonesia's "Spice Islands" 70 % chili and 30 % .... >.< maybe 80 % chili and ... >.<  |

Spices I like to use are star anise (minty toothpaste smell :3), mustard seeds (great for making curries, especially fish curries), fennel seeds, cumin powder (yes! aromatic smell that's perfect for season meat and chicken), chilli powder, tumeric powder (not only the smells earthy and aromatic, it's strong yellow colour really colours any dish, hence appealing and mouth-watering). For sweet dishes, you can use star anise again, due to its sweet minty aroma, cinnamon sticks/powder, cardamom seeds. I don't like using cloves though. The smells great, but everytime I didn't notice I bit it, it tasted just bad x_x |

I LOVE Cinnamon!! To me, it just has that flavor that tends to make each and every bite sweet ^^ I also LOVE the smell of Oregano! ^^    |
