I have a video in avi format and subtitle file srt, I played both by using GOM Player, so now I want to combine these two files together so I can burn it out as dvd using NeroStartSmart which is playable in tv with subtitle. So does
anyone know how to do it?

There's a program out there called DVD2SVCD. It can do both of what you wanna do. It can add permanent subtitles to your .avi and burn to DVD. Google DVD2SVCD and something'll come up.

;D

Or if you want a free and legal alternative, Vobsub (or was it vobsubmod?) works really well to hardcode subs into the video.
