Wow is this normal

Ahh i was about to download .. but i saw its 200MB wow that is hugeee.. i have only 6 GIgs a month and im able to cap it in 3 days :S well when i watch anime from other websites its around 50ish mbs can you please help me .somehow can i get lower mbs so i can download more :D

First of all, I'm going to assume you are new to this. 200 MB for an anime file these days is quite normal considering the different encoding formats as well as the resolution. However, don't be fooled by "bigger file size = better quality". I could make a 32 gig fansub file with pathetic video O_O. Your solution would be to either suck it up, or find the show done by a different group who encoded/compressed the file smaller to meet your needs. You could also try to watch it on some streaming site but I don't like them due to reduced quality and buffering. Now what's this about anime files being at 50 MB or lower? The only thing that comes to my mind where files can be that small are if they are really short (like Chi's Sweet Home/Chocolate Underground/5 min shows etc) or if it was those .rm chinese sub files. I'm sorry but you aren't going to find shows at that file size with keeping the quality. Most encoders in the fansub groups have encoded the files to optimum size + quality. Going down any further would thus degrade the quality but again this comes down to their methods/practices. |

50 MB? Why don't you just watch them on youtube or crunchyroll if your computer can't store a lot of space? 200 MB is normal for a 24 minute episode. |

Yeah mines are around 165-175+ (200) roughly. How much space is left on your HD? ...and are you new to this? What kinda sites are you streaming from if they're that low in MB? I suggest you move onto better sources.

If you're gonna stream, use a better quality site at least. And do you know how much HD space you have on your computer? And I don't live in Australia, where you would get Foxtel, so ask your parents or something dude.

arg.. i dunt think its possible to get it in my area.. i got plenty of HD space the problem is that i have a 6 gigabyte cap per month to download

Huh? 6 GB a month? I guess it's under some internet company you're using or something, that's weird. Well, if you only have 6, then dL enough so you don't go over your limit (I guess)... Does the remaining GB that you don't use, go over to the next month, and so on as well?

nope... if you use it it goes very slow i can use 6 gigs in about 2-3 days at max

So like, what is it exactly? I'm not exactly sure. But from the basics so far, it must not be that good, at least for you anyways. Though I don't know what it is yet, so I'm not sure if you can improve on your situation, or so.
