Here's a new anime that I think everyone will enjoy... Natsume Yuujinchou! Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits. It's a good supernatural anime that's warm and lighthearted with a good mix of Japanese folklore. |

I watched the first episode (The episode 2 RAW is out now) and I feel in love with the anime~ Comedy, demons and school life. And I just love Natsume ♥ Plus the music for both opening and ending are awesome~! [EDIT] the manga is already out on the web ;D   currently CLOSED. Request as detailed as as you possibly can. Love the show... slight different from the Manga but I love them both... Am so glad that the book 4 ordered from Kinokuniya has finally arrived. If not then I'll just have Natsume Yuujinchou Book 1, 3 and 4. For those who like to know more about ayakashi (spirits/ghost/basically non-human stuff),is a good watch!  |

I watched the two Eps and I've become a fan. The songs are just wonderful. Natsume Yuujinchou has potential to be a great anime for this summer :) Even though it's competing with the likes of World Destruction and Antique Bakery... I think it's still awesome :3  |

I so agree that the OP and ED are good... I love the ED, it's peaceful and calm. The animation for the ED uses a pastel colored theme making it a nice watch. The second episode was particularly a tear jerker... D: @syrel, you can download it through torrents.. episode 2 is out by ainex subs. BSS has also released episode 2 too but ainex is slightly early. |

Yeesss. I think that Kita Shuhei singing the OP reminds me a bit of Suga Shikao-sama's wondrous voice : D EP 2 was so sad: I can't wait for EP 3 XD |

I watched it because i'm hearing good rumors about it from 4chan, and well... I liked it... Such a heartwarming stories from the first and second episode, exactly what i need to watch when i need to relax. And the songs were awesome as well, i rarely found better male singers nowadays, so this series is a delight. Especially the ED. I never thought that there's a male singer with a similar singing style as Hajime Chitose... And i don't hate that kinda style :D |

Hi ^_^ This is a very good anime, especially it's summer and it's about summer and ayakashi~ It is so classical~ I specially love the ED by Kousuke Atari, Natsu Yuu Sora (å¤å¤•ç©º) it's really a wonderful song~ Cheers, mi-chan yori~

Yeah, waiting for Natsume is slow. And the manga scanlations aren't helping either *sigh* But it's all good! : D I love Hiroshi Kamiya's potrayal of Natsume and Kazuhiko Inoue's Nyanko-chan :3 I think they're pretty awesome! :D |

Yup. The 1st ep is especially good... sigh... have to wait another half a week before the next episode is out. I've ordered volume 5 from Kinokuniya yesterday. How dumb was I to not check how many volume have been released when I ordered that missing volume 2 I didn had back then... Now I've goto start waiting again! T.T |

Undoubtedly, Nyanko-sensei is the most lovable character you'll encounter in this series. I still can't believe that he's a powerful Ayakashi who behaves like a normal cat and getting into meaningless fights with Natsume. |

I love the supernatural. And I love Hiroshi Kamiya XD;;; I'm just waiting for Akira Ishida to make his appearance as one of the characters :3 Hehehe. But the anime is going good! : D Episode 4 is out! : D |

Counting down to new episode~~ I love the parts where Natsume tease Nyanko Sensei with a catnip and he falls for it... "I'm not a cat" and so he says... kyakyakya~ EDIT:: Just watched episode 5 in Chinese subs... just thought I should let you guys know that the anime is now different from the manga... at least for this episode... I'll comment more on it when everyone's watched it! |
