Bleach's Ichigo: Human or Shinigami/Vaizard?

Actually I wanna know where the human characters got their power... I'm not updated with the manga so if this question is already covered on the manga... screw this... OK, Ishida is a d@mn give away... it's ancestry, plain and simple... but what about Chad and Inoue. Chad's is similar from a Hollow's and Inoue's is something like the other vaizard's... but the how and why are still a mystery... Kurosaki household's are rather confusing... their father is (or was) a shinigami and their mother is probably a human... so what are their offspring's? and how did Isshin impregnated a human if he is (or was) a shinigami? If I remembered right, Urahara is still on a gigai and he is the best on making one's so papa Kurosaki is definitely not on a gigai... if he became human, how and why? Assuming both parent's were then humans and the children's are humans, if I recalled correctly after meeting rukia for the 1st tym and giving him shinigami powers then his brother came along whooped him and lost it, urahara trained him and CUT OFF his chains thus killing him... were the chains reconnected or after the process he still a human with shinigami powers? is that how they make shinigami in soul society? I think he should be shinigami who wears a gigai and not a human who has shinigami form... at that part as well, he almost became a hollow maybe explains the resurgence of a hollow ichigo... oh, wait. that's vaizard stuff already... |

Hmm, let's see. You're talking about a few topics here. First off, Ichigo is a human who gained Shinigami powers. His father is a Shinigami, but his dear mother was 100% human, as far as we know. Yuzu can sense (un-intentionally) if a hollow's presence is near, and the one little episode I think Karin had the ability to see one herself. Urahara seems to be in tuned with Isshin and Ryuken (Ishida's father), maybe from their ol' school days. If Urahara used a gigai to become human, it's possible that they both are using one as well, or some form of it anyways. Background information for these three characters are not that well know yet, so I don't know them that well, either. Now there's Rukia and her brother... After first encountering Rukia near the early episodes, he does gain his Shinigami powers from Rukia. After loosing (of course) to Byakuya, he never lost his powers, he simply lost the fight. I barely remember around this early part in the anime, but about the chains, I don't think they killed him. I think they unlocked his powers more, as a Substitute Shinigami. I remember the training he went through to get to this level, too. Also, he trained in the place where he would later learn Bankai in Soul Society. If you want to talk about Shinigamis were formed, you can click on that link, though Quincies and Shinigamis aren't that different in "where they originated from". They're just two different races, that's basically it. "I think he should be shinigami who wears a gigai and not a human who has shinigami form..." If he's originally a Shinigami, then the entire story for him would be useless. He's a human who gained Shinigami powers, and he uses a gigai to keep his powers locked away so he can go to school and whatnot. It was only later in the anime that we found out he has an even deeper power, his Hollow powers. And of course later we find out he's also a Vaizard. That's what I think anyways. I think Eiko or someone else who's more knowledgeable on Bleach can help me out here.
