Noob going crazy with e-mail

| Lately im having trouble receiving emails from any email sites (yahoo,gmail,hotmail) being the computer iliterate that i am i hoped only doing virus,spyware scans would work yet found nothing, i tried reformating also but that didn't do the trick either. Could someone please tell me what to do? |

Have you try close the email account, and make a new one? Did you contact for help on the email site you're using? |

| I have have set up new accounts but doesnt seem to help also,i know this is a dumb question Kay but um whats a email client, is it just aplaying for regular mail. |

Something like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. From your question, my guess is that yer not using an e-mail client. |

| Um hi i seemed to have solved the problem by doing all sort of stuff. i notified my email sites and called my internet company and somehow one of those did the trick. Don't know which one but what the heck as long as it worked.So if someone could lock this thread and thanks to all who helped. |

umm the issue is probably you u knowingly probably gave some one your email and then they gave it to some one and then so on and so forth but that causes a chain and chances are some wherew along the line some one started applying you for random things such as i dk sex adds wich are most common. but they just keep coming and never stop. this is also sometimes called an E Bomb. Umm this has happend with my yahoo account wich now i just use for random just i need to give my email address for just to get the online games or what ever but there is not you can do but constantly click the mail as spam or just create a new account and only give your email to select sites and people you feel you can trust.  |
