Funimation to distribute select Geneon Orphans

Thanks to ANN The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it signed a deal with Geneon Entertainment to manufacture, sell, and distribute "select" DVD titles in North America. Those titles include Ergo Proxy, Hellsing Ultimate, Black Lagoon, Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage, Karin, Kyo kara Maoh! Season 2, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Elemental Gelade, Fate/stay night, Kamichu, the live-action Ninja Vixens work, Paradise Kiss, Rozen Maiden, Rozen Maiden - Träumend, Shana, Shonen Onmyouji, The Familiar of Zero, The Story of Saiunkoku, When They Cry - Higurashi, and The Law of Ueki. |

Yes! This is great! Especially happy for Higurashi. I wasn't sure any other company would be willing to pick up a title containing the kind of subject matter it contains. :3 Now I can make sure I can pick up those DVDs. |

nice, also the news on Zero no Tsukaima season 3 is as follows. Zero no Tsukaima ~Pincesses no Rondo~ begins airing July 17th. cant wait for higurashi dvd's in U.S.
I clean j00r house and pwn j00r nubs all at the same time.

Sweet, I'm glad that Higurashi got picked up, it's a great show and I want those DVD releases. I can't wait for Black Lagoon to start getting distributed again either. |

Saaa~! I was fearing that limited ed rozen maiden starter box was forever to remain uncompleted. I was looking forward to buying the higurashi series as well... hope they do a re-release on volumes I missed when they where first released.   |

Oh nice, that's a pretty big deal there. I'd love to get Fate/Stay Night on box set! I can dL both Higurashi's or so online, and later decide if I want to box set that, too.
