The difference between a newbie and a n00b

Everyone's been a newbie, but no one wants to be a n00b! Sadly sometimes innocent newbies can slip into the false, confused position of n00b. n00b- A newbie who often pretends they know what they are doing in a new terrain. They will order around the "oldbies" and generally try to act as if they know what they are doing when they really don't. Tragic. Fortunately, n00bs are outed by the oldbies and corrected for their misdemeanors. Newbie- Just your average everyday new person. They can be shy in a new terrain, but that is fine. A kindhearted oldbie can act as their guide and soon they become a respected olbie:) It's fine to be a newbie, but n00bs are annoying, rude, condescending and they don't know when they make foold of themselves. So please, look into your hearts newbies and do not become n00bs!!! -Jinhana |
