I have a question about downloading

I was reading the rules of downloading and I believe is said that all music must be deleted within 24 hours of downloading so as not to discourage buying cds. I don't mind purchasing the music in a store or on itunes, but I can't find any anime music, I even tried to find some in the japanese section of itunes, just to see if it was avalible (then again, maybe it's becuase I don't speek japanese and wasn't navigating correctly). I'm perfectly happy deleting the songs after I've found out where to purchase them, but until then, do I have to delete the songs within 24 hours? ps, I'm pretty sure this isn't in other treads or the faq, so don't kill me, okay?  |

The "24 hour" deletion rule is just a disclaimer. Nobody can truly force you to delete them, and at the same time nobody is encouraging you to download them to begin with. It's illegal to download things you didn't pay to own like video games via emulators/roms but if you get caught, you've got nobody to blame but yourself. What you do with said files is entirely up to you. As for buying anime music, almost every song here at gendou.com has a "Buy" link where you can legally purchase it. There are also various online sites that offer them as well (like amazon, yesasia, and play-asia). I'm not too sure about itunes though. |
