Can anyone recommend to me any type of software that I can use to make an online avatar system that allows each user to design their own character like in MMORPG's. I had already made the designs and compiled them all in HTML format since this is the only thing that I know for the meantime. It works like this: Registered players, chooses their sets then going to PM it to me to be assembled, then after I had received the PM, Im going to assemble it according to the players will then reply to it together with the finished set. My point is that, I want to make things, more simplier by letting each user see the output by theirselves and also at the sametime, saves my time too. Im not that good in coding with FLASH, and with Java too. Is there any software aside from using Java and FLASH? thanks by the way, here's the link for the CG Avatar: CG Club >> CG Avatar

Unfortunately, there is no software that can help you in your problem in making an avatar character system. But a programming language can. I just use a Hello Kitty Sprite in making a Dressing-Up Game using PHP during my college days, but I don't think PHP is ok and acceptable to some free webhosting servers. The last option is to use Flash or Javascript to do that. Then, the next problem you gonna encounter is to fusion the Avatar Image into a Single Image. That's now PHP or Java will do if you're using it for Webpage Format, but in Flash Format, try to scan Fusing PNG using Hex Editor in order to save a single image outcome. But the possible programming language that is not hard to follow to this avatar system is the PHP, second is Javascript. Try to browse Gaiaonline.com because they also use PHP. I will try if I can find my Hello Kitty PHP Dressup Game in my CDs as your reference in your Avatar System. Hey! A question to you also. Your name is kind of familiar to me. Did we chat somewhere? |

@Ruy + thanks for the info but sadly im not that good in PHP or Javascripts >,< I can only handle HTML codes but not that PRO... well for the meantime ill try to use the HTML for the meantime... lol Im not sure if you still remember me but Im a regular member of STAP xP

Oh! I don't recognize that you're the person who are looking for Gundam Unicorn and we chat at Shout to all Pinoys thread. I didn't recognize your account because your Avatar and Signature is not the same as what I remember. I post recently in STAP but I don't know if they remember me. So back to your problem... I will not promise you that I can help you because of my busy work in installing my area to be wireless and wifi accessible with cisco security. I can make a simple Avatar System for that. The only you must do is to draw a sprite of ... 1. Full Body Image or Shadow (no details, no eyes, no mouth, no hair, no etc). One for Male and one for Female. Try to make it small. 2. Parts of the Head (Eyes, Nose, Lips, and Hair) and must be shaped exactly to the picture. Don't perform to make the equiptments and accessory because we don't know the outcome of the graphics. And I'm good at Code Programming not drawing some Graphic Arts. |
