Does anyone still likes this anime? The anime and manga is very great. The kekkai designs are very simple but its very strong. I also like the storyline and the characters' characteristics. The manga was awarded best manga by the Shogakukan Manga Award. The characters that I like there is Madarao although he speaks like he is gay when he talks about Hazama Tokimori. He has great sense of smell when finding ayakashi.   Follow the road you believe in --> |

The anime is really nice. Great art, good flow of the storyline, strong characters, awesome battlescene and I feel touched when Gen died... *sob* But it seems this anime is not so popular... I wonder why... Anyway my fav character will be Yoshimori, the main character. He quite funny but get very serious especially when he get angry. |

Sad to see that only a few knows of this series... The anime was very loyal to the manga, it contained no fillers at all... It was hilarious and all. The art of Yellow Tanabe was simple but you could appreciate it much. Animation wasn't that good.. though the portrayal of the Hazama-ryuu technique was awesome. XD. Plot was kinda simple but it's not that bland. Cliche some might say but it still came out good and nice. There are some events that are really unexpected, I'mma not spoil... I recommend this series to people who likes: 1. Bleach 2. Soul Eater it's not teh same as those two.. but teh feeling is, yeah.. XD Sumner: lol, Madarao really has a crush on the founding father Hazama Tokimori. That's why he's like that. XD blue: you spoiled it.. x.x oh well, yep that was one of the reason why I bought teh manga... to see whether Gen would appear more or not...

| I like this series too. Even i haven't watched or read the series till end. But still, i like it. Hm.. yeah, maybe almost the same with soul eater i think. |

I like the series too. It was a huge bummer for me that Gen died. Though having Hakubi and Madarao still around dampens the feeling. |

Flyheight: That death was crucial for unlocking the Kekkaishi's drive to protect Karasumori. erk... for those who would be able to read this. Some facts about Hakubi and Madarao: + Even though Madarao is older than Hakubi, Hakubi was first in terms of being w/ the founding father, Hazama Tokimori. + Madarao is referred as a "she/her" in the manga, though there are some instance that they would say that Madarao was a former "male dog." Yellow Tanabe's defense was that Madarao is a demon dog, so gender's not really much of an issue. Though, she sees Madarao as a male dog whose in love w/ his master. XD. /sigh... I wish more people would see teh greatness of this title. Only people who had replied so far are those who were able to watch the anime since it was aired on their country AND/OR just happened to look this series/title up. XD
