woot.. just been able to stabilize my schedule.. so far... after next week, I'll be able to not be busy anymore.. >:D I wonder if I'm still a part of this.. anyhow, about the last contest.. congrats on dfly... that was one heck of a spectrum style.. x.x saru's was realistic.. I really liked it except for the text AND the pose of the render.. >.> sorry but I already dislike THAT character normally.. and seeing him like that... well.. you get my point.. XD but still it was soo nice. renma... typical... need I say anything more? XD inx... LOL... being biased... it's ORANGE! lol.. nice pattern... I cannot say anything more that would be useful.. XD just ranting about the orange~ness of it.. /stop.. naru, you could still use some practice in blending... unless you're going for the glossy, try lightening effects more.. and transparency less... jjechi, proportions.. >:D that's all.. ------------- now now, dun hate me.. I'm just a harmful critic... >XD feel free to flame me if you could... this is not a threat but merely an end say... XD

[ Jejeshi ] I have no idea when the next event will be, it all depends on who is organizing this. Anyone can volunteer for making an event for us to enjoy :0 Better be soon because a HALLOWEEN theme would be a great event! GUYS GUYS GUYS! I finally got the hang of GIMP! I made a practice sig but its still not that good compared to yours. I made it for Dfly, since she won the last contest and all, and I hope she likes it since its her -cough-obsession-cough- what do you guys think? It's my first one in GIMP

@jejechi: heh thnaks. GIMP is pretty simple to use actually, it was the same for me till i watched tutorials. And the background is a brush, or many different ones. Theres no pattern involved, but many layers. You might want to download some new brushes cause you cant do it with the default brushes. at DeviantArt, they have a whole section of brushes just for GIMP. The brush i used on dfly, was the BASH set, and the one i used on my sig was BASH, FUSION, PHANTASM and DYNASTY. If you have GIMP 2.4 or higher, then you can also use photoshop brushes. Hope I answered your question. Also, watch tutorials is the best advice I can give. @Dfly: lol you're welcome, that was the first i made in GIMP, all i need to do now is practice for ren's upcoming halloween event, and ich's grand slam event.
