Sorei (Started, but still open to public)

|*~Prologue~*| Tairoge, a planet that is on the brink of destruction, as the planet's core has consumed all the fuel available to it. This world, unknowingly to most of those on Earth, circles the same elliptical formation around it's sun just as the Earth does. In fact it is in the exact same spot, the only difference is it's position within the dimensional rift that is naturally present within this reality. The people of Tairoge, and the people of Earth are no different then each other, they look, live, and work the same as those of us on Earth. Their technology is not as far as ours, they are literally a parallel world to ours. Except for one difference between them. Those on Tairoge are, at birth, capable of abilities that are not present in the human gene as of yet. They call their abilities Sorei, and those abilities are different within each individual, as different as their voice, as their fingerprints. Many have Sorei capable of great power, others have Sorei that are for support to others. While most choose to use their gift to help and protect their homes, cities, world, while others choose to use them for their own selfish gains. Not unlike what the humans of Earth would choose to use the ability if they possessed it. Most of the inhabitants of both planets are unaware of each others existence, until the planet of Tairoge started it's meltdown. Ambassadors from Tairoge have created a rift that connected the two planets, of course the government of the planet had informed our government long before. Area 51, the location that was thought to hold alien bodies, spaceships, and other extraterrestrial items was actually the base that allowed the communication between ours, and several other dimensions. The negotiations between our planet and their have gone on since the 1920's, but have yet to reach a compromise that both are happy with. Time is growing short for the people of Tairoge, and most of its inhabitants are growing impatient. News of an uproar have gotten to Earth, as well as the fact that most of the strongest Sorei users are planning to overtake the planet Earth by force. But few people of the planet are willing to help us defend Earth, at least until a permanent compromise has been reached. Several people of Tairoge have converted their bodies into pure energy and locked themselves within a meteor which they will send to Earth. Once here they will call out to the humans that they will be giving their abilities to. They will do so through a psychic connection that is naturally connecting the people of Tairoge and the people of Earth. The beings of Tairoge will transfer their power to those people by fusing their spirits with the complementary human that they can create a strong bond with. |*~Announcements~*| Well, I've started up the RP but hopefully more people will join and this won't die. Tell people you know of the RP, hopefully they'll be interested in joining. By the way, I stated this in my beginning post, but we won't start out with our Sorei, I want to get everyone in one place before that. You don't have to start out in NYC, but that might make everything easier. Trade mark item, a long black coat that he always seems to wear, and even when one gets torn up or ruined he always comes back with another one, seemingly out of nowhere. Name: Deryk Kalin Age: 21 Gender: Male Sorei: Tough Black armor, Razor claws, Demonic Arts, High Strenght(jumping and included.) Ability: Excellent Swordplay, counter-type style. Can wield his sword one-handedly. Weapon: Devastar Blade, sword can be extended into a lance-like long sword or split into twin swords. Appearance:Hair: Dark Brown, Short length Eyes: Reddish brown, right eye is slightly obscured by hair. Height: 6'00" Weight: 150 lbs, 220 lbs when armor is active Clothing: Black shirt, Dark grey pants with belt and a silver bracer on his left arm, Black shoes. Trade mark item, a long white jacket with symbols on the back that he is usually seen wearing, and even when one gets ripped he will try to replace it, as soon as he can. Wears a mask that covers his mouth. Short Bio:A trained mercenary and swordsman before receiving his Sorei powers. He now wanders around finding opponents to fight.

Satsuki introduced himself to Kamui and told her that he needs Kamui's help to save and protect plant earth from Sorei-users who tend to overtake Earth by force. and with that said, Kamui agreed to help him.   |

((I suppose we could start up, but I would like for more people to come, so tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell your neighbors to come and join. By the way we won't start out with our Sorei.)) 'Find' a voice sounded, echoing, vibrating, repeating itself until it was finally heard. Gene sat up on his couch, awakened by the voice that had penetrated his unconscious mind. He rubbed his eyes and let out a yawn, thinking it was just a dream, or possibly something that was said on the TV that was left on. He picked up the remote and turned it off, picking up his dirty plate on the way back to the kitchen. High school had let out a few days ago, and he was catching up on his sleep. "Wonder what that voice was" he muttered, still a bit drowsy. Just then the TV somehow turned itself on, not only that it was changed to a different channel, the NEWS was on. The scene was nothing like he's seen before, a smoking crater, in the middle of the street, was behind the reporter. "What the?" he said to himself as he reached for the remote and turned up the volume. "I'm here in downtown New York City where, it appears, a large meteorite had crash landed into the street. So far no injuries have been reported and I just got word that the military is coming to take the meteor back to it's base." "Woah" Gene said looking on, "that's pretty close to here, how did I not hear it land? I'm not that deep of a sleeper." 'FIND' the voice sounded again, this time a bit louder and lasting longer than the last time. Gene looked up at the TV again, this time seeing something, a figure on the screen it had a human like form but no distinct features. 'Find' the voice sounded again, seeming like it came from the figure, as the voice sounded the figure turned and seemed to point to the meteor that was being taken away. Gene simply stared at his screen, saying nothing, doing nothing, even forgetting to blink or breathe for a moment. The figure faded away as the military chopper took the meteor away, and flew off. "This, is just the push I needed to get this summer started" he said as he got to his feet. The TV turned off as he found himself a map and plotted the fastest course from his home to the military base. |

Name: Rictus Karasu Age: 17 Gender: Male Sorei/Ability: Gravity Manipulation Weapons: Two wakizashis, each with a ring on the guard so that they can be attatched to spring-loaded chains on his bracers. Appearance:Rictus Bio: The child of rich, uncaring parents, Rictus has everything he wants besides companionship. Being home-schooled, he was never exposed to other children. As such, his closest friend is his cat, Calli. He does whatever he wants because he can get away with it, and has picked up a knack for lockpicking and coordinated thievery, though he only goes far enough to prove that he's capable. Rictus wove through traffic on his new motorcycle. It was hard work keeping up with a helicopter, even if it had to move slowly in the urban area. He was more worried about what would happen once it reached open airspace. He could only hope that he could find it if he lost it. He had to. Waking up to four hundred new text messages was terrifying, not to mention the fact that they had all arrived at the same time and only said "meteor". It wasn't hard to figure out which one. Who was capable of the text stunt? Who felt that he needed to know about it? "I'll see you there," he whispered into his helmet.  |

Kamui was walking towards home when suddenly a meteor crashed 3 blocks from where she was. It gave a great impact that all the glass windows of the area broke into pieces. "What thu..?! What was that..?" she said while picking herself up. Kamui wanted to find out what it was but she had to go home before supper of else, she'll be scolded by her landlord. As she was walking down the block, she noticed that she arrived back to the area where pieces of broken glass laid. "Huh? How come im back here again..?" she thought to herself. Someone was stopping her. She took it as a sign, "I think it wants me to go where the meteor is.." she said. Kamui ran towards the area where it was and suprisingly, a helicopter rose the meteor up and took it away. "I have to follow it, but how?" she asked herself. As she was looking for a way to follow the helicopter, she noticed a skateboard inside a trashcan, "this'll do.." she said, so she followed the helicopter up to its destination. |

| BOO!! =D anyway, wow, lol more people want to join the RP two months later, better late than never I guess. I will restart this RP if you guys would like to make a character and your first posts =D. I prefer to have everyone who is wanting to join/have joined to make a starting post before I move on with the story. So if guys really are interested in this RP create a character and a start up post, and then I'll move the story forward from there. Hopefully I'll remember how this RP was going to go xD. |

Name:Zero Age:19 Gender:Male Sorei/Ability:Gravity(Pressure and anything related to gravitation) Weapon:Dual Guns Appearance:  Bio:A boy that was raised by a very wealthy family.As a boy he learned the bad qualities of being wealthy when he saw his father plotting to assassinate somebody.He then discarded his real name and gave himself the name Zero.Learning how to wield dual guns,he one day had to defend himself from his fathers agents.During that time he almost got killed,if it were not for the Sorei giving him powers during the moment he needed it. Zero is also known to have a dual personality(as seen on the pic).His other half(the upper one) comes out usually during the time where his life is in danger.The other half or his 'real self',usually dominates his mind.  |

Also able to replicate and materialize weapons in almost an instance. Weapon(s): Usually dual swords which are capable of ingulfing themselves in flames. Appearance:
Bio: A mercenary who will do anything to get his job done without having to betold twice. He is capable of doing feats that most people wouldnt eve nimagine doing.
