Gurren Lagann to be played on Sci-fi Ani monday

From ANN: The Sci Fi Channel in the United States lists two episodes of the Gurren Lagann science-fiction anime series on July 28 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT during the first hour of the Ani-Monday programmng block. Bandai Entertainment announced in April that it had acquired Hiroyuki Imaishi and Gainax's anime, after ADV Films had announced Gurren Lagann last July but then removed the anime from its catalog. Both Bandai Entertainment itself and its newly hired producer Toshifumi Yoshida had indicated that he would be working on the localization for this anime on an accelerated schedule for July. |

wat channel? as much as i hate watching dubbed anime i might give this one a try. i thought the last 5 episodes of gurren lagann were amazing  |

Just fyi people, it's the subbed version. Bandai announced that they won't have a dub out until sometime around July of 2009

I'm glad they got it -^_^-, kind of tired of [adultswim] getting everything. It gives me three nights of new stuff to watch now! Ani-Monday, IFC Friday and [as] Saturday. |

I'm just glad it'll be on t.v. I've been trying to find a show that maybe I could get my brother into, since he hates all anime. |

the only anime channel over here, and channels that show anime, anime central, has been playin re-runs of cowboy bebop and ghost in the shell SAC for months now :( it's lame as.

dudeee you need to watch it. i loved it so much. when i found out that they were gonna make 2 films, i've never been so excited in my life. i had the biggest grin on my face possible! there should still be some torrents about or whatever so u should be able to d/l it easy enough. maaaaan i think i'm gonna have to go watch it again :D
