Battle Assault 1 and 2 are great. Battle Assault 3: Featuring Gundam Seed (PS2) is ok but it is a departure from the usual Battle Assult games. Gundam Seed Battle Assault (GBA) is more like the regular series. Mobile Suit Gundam Federation Vs Zeon and Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters In Space are 2 of the best Gundam games there are. (Next to the Battle Assault Series IMO.) Gundam Side story on Dreamcat was ok but hard to control. Journey To Jaburo on PS2 is better. Overall Mobile Suit Gundam:EIS is probably the best Gundam game I have ever played. It's arguably better than Federation Vs Zeon. It's like this game was made for Gundam fans. There are so many mobile suits and mobil armors. I have never seen this many in a game before. The 0083 missions are some of the most fun in the game. It is also one of my favorite series. The animation is so clean. It's better than the DVD. The only bad thing about the game is that all the battles are flying missions. But I am glad that they didn't just throw in ground based missions and half ass it. You don't always fight in space though. You will fight on a colony or inside a base but you will be flying all the time. A funny thing you can do is land on top of battle ships. The game plays like a mix of Zone of the Enders and Panzer Dragoon Orta. Enimies come from everywhere. And you will almost always be outnumbered. There are a bunch of different play modes. There are 3 main ones. White Base lets you play as Amuro Ray piloting the Gundam RX78-2. Theroughbred takes you through the battles of the 16th Autonomous Corps during the One Year War. And Ace Pilot mode which lets you play the battles of various pilots from 0079 and 0083. This mode itself has about 8 different senarios that each have their own cutscenes and mission layouts. For example you get to use Char Anzable and see his side of the story and his rivalry with Amuro Ray. There is also a Mission Mode which lets you create your own pilot. You have 3 Federation and 3 Zeon characters to chose from. 4 males and 2 females. You can select their voice and name as well. You have a total of 8 missions to play through. Failing the missions dosen't have any penalty other than missing out on valuable experience and rank. After missions you have the option of leveling up your basic mobile suit skills or learning special ablilties. This is the mode that offers the most challange because your pilot starts off with negative stats! Some of the missions let you select what mobile suit or armor you use when others select for you or limit you to a certain mobil suit or armor. Finally there is a versus mode which lets you select a team of up to 3 and puts you against another team of up to 3. You can also use your created pilot in this mode. There is a rank limit to somewhat balance the battles. You have 300 points to use.For example you could have a pilot like Amuro pilot the God/Burning Gundam. This would use 275 points. With your 15 points left there is not much you could do. You could put another pilot in a super cheap core unit just for the hell of it. Or you could just go with a couple of GM's or Zaku II's. There is also a Record mode and a Gallery mode. Record mode has all of your scores and ranks from every mission in the game. Getting S ranks on certain missions unlock mobil suits and other things. Gallery Mode lets you view mobile suits, watch videos, and listen to music. There are 2 different music sections. All of this has to be unlocked. Movies are unlocked the moment you see them the first time. Music is unlocked by completing the various other modes. There is so much to do in this game you will be busy for quite a while. BTW there are 6 extra mobile suits in the game for versus mode. Gundam Seed GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam G-Gundam GF13-017NJII God/Burning Gundam GF13-001NHII Master Gundam Gundam Wing XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III |

I prefer Gundam Seed Never Ending Tomorrow to any other things else... And Of course, G-Genration Seed and Gundam Seed OMNI vs ZAFT... The only problem is when is it going to come out? |

I wish there was. I dont have any consoles, but I wanted to show my friend, who only has GameCube. What was the one on Dreamcast? I remembered that was popular at one time. Like you said Mike, there does need to be a good Gundam game that has more to do than normally about Gundam Wing. Has anyone tried Endless Duel rom for SNES emulator? Heavyarms's theme rocked!! That was an awesome fighting game! But not too much to offer (how could it? It was on SNES and only in Japan). I heard there was also a G-Gundam game like Endless Duel (only in Japan too) but it was awful. The one thing I didn't like about Battle Assault 3 is that there really were 2 suits from the previous Gundam series. My brother really wanted to see Deathscythe and Heavyarms (his favorite). If you tried Endless Duel then you'd know Epyon and Shenlong were top tiers. But in Battle Assault 2, it was kind of harder to combo moves (I HATED this one guy for disgracing Heavyarms by being cheap and by only doing one move and calling himself master. Fortunately, my brother countered with Deathscythe.). Even Epyon and Shenlong were toned down from Endless Duel. |

If ya got a PS2, then try out MS Saga:: A new dawn. It's an rpgthat uses Mobile suits and gundams, but has it's own storyline. the equip and battle system are quite good, and the boss fights are a challenge. Plus ya can custom make any MS ya want, Zaku legs on sandrock anyone?
