Frozen Downloads

I've been downloading music from Gendou for a while, but just recently started encountering a problem... When I begin a download, the download speed drops and goes to zero, usually freezing the download mid-way... Eventually the download "completes" but the song file remains incomplete...playable but only contains a portion of the song. I've tried many different songs and used IE and Firefox, which all have the same result...  |

Um...this problem started about a month ago and I've been connecting to my university's network without problems for the past year. Do you know what the problem might be? |

Yeah. Rin's right. More likely it's a connection problem. As for your problem, better ask your university's network administrator. Maybe they put up a blocker or something. Who knows... XP  |

| No I agree with Kuisanagi, it's the same for me as well. I've been coming to this site for a least a year now. I love it! It's the only place where I can find any anime song that I'm looking for. But for the past few months I can't dl anything. It starts off fine then it just freezes and hangs, I'll stop it and retry a little while later and it's done the same thing. Even if I leave it for an hour I get no progress at all. It'll still go to my dl count as if I downloaded the song though. It's def not my connection, as it only happens here. Besides I check it often anyway. |

What kind of connection you're both using anyway ? Have you checked other things (Other than the connection itself) like the download accelerator or the restrictions ? |

| I'm using cable internet, thru Motorola modem, thru Lynksis router. I just recently downloaded an accelerator but I don't use it for music only vids. It's just one day this started to happen. At a loss here, any assistance would be appreciated. |

have u guys tried cleaning ur computers its bad to have a cluttered computer u know and also try to defrag it too this really helps alot if u don't it could lead to a 'sick' computer and having a 'sick' computer can lead to bad things like this here get this it really helps i have it so i m recommending it to u guys here is the link ===>c cleaner Its a program that cleans up your computer its really helpful and works with most browsers |

[@Shin] Yeah, those are the worst man. They could've modified the computer/internet settings itself, quite possibly. In my school a few months ago, they blocked a ton of stuff near the end of the year. They blocked access to open up "task bar" even... -_______-"

Sometimes happen to me too, i think it's because to many people it's downloading songs / or that song at the same time. You can try downloading it later, if the you still have problems then you should check your conection. |

@ legend dark cant be becasuse servers have a program which tells them who they are downloading to via[ip] and it makes the downloading of music to alot of people easier because it auto resumes itself when one download is complete which is why we have to wait 10 secs then again it starts.. |
