quality issues?
Link | by J on 2008-04-10 05:06:44
I downloaded a few songs from here... a few er...like 20 but not the issue. My problem is that they all sound blunted. Like the base and voice has been smoothed over losing the harder edge in some of the songs especially by psycho lover and TMR.

My friend who also downloads from here says he plays stuff on his psp fine, but I compared a copy of XTC I got here thinking it would be better, to the original I got else where and I actually heard a difference in quality. My MP3 player plays everything else fine.

I searched, looked back a few pages manually, read the rules and FAQ Again, and don't see anything T.T

What media player are you using?
Windows media player?
Try using a newer player that can handle ID3 tags and VBR files.

I can't use computer media players. My computer is to old. I use an MP3 player that came out a couple years ago not even, and the firmware on it was update just a few months ago not even.

And I do this Because I use my music most when I'm out walking or exersizing, entire purpose for having it.

So the problem is on the MP3 player? There's a possibility that your MP3 player err dosent support or having problems with VBR playback. How 'bout if you try to re-encode/convert the files (CBR set). It should be working fine. If your PC is old, I bet your media player too. Try upgrading your player, and then try again.
