Welcome to Gendou.com Cryptography Challenge #30!

The goal of this game is to discover and decode the encrypted message below.

Once you decrypt the secret message, send it to me in the body of a forum message by clicking here.
If you get it right, I will give you a level up and your name will appear on the scoreboard below.

Scoreboard:
The Vault was furnished with considerably more than six chairs, as though a larger company had been expected. Hardin noted that thoughtfully and seated himself wearily in a comer just as far from the other five as possible.

The Board members did not seem to object to that arrangement. They spoke among themselves in whispers, which fell off into sibilant monosyllables, and then into nothing at all. Of them all, only Jord Fara seemed even reasonably calm. He had produced a watch and was staring at it somberly.

Hardin glanced at his own watch and then at the glass cubicle – absolutely empty – that dominated half the room. It was the only unusual feature of the room, for aside from that there
was no indication that somewhere a computer was splitting off instants of time toward that precise moment when a muon stream would flow, a connection be made and–

The lights went dim!

They didn't go out, but merely yellowed and sank with a suddenness that made Hardin jump. He had lifted his eyes to the ceiling lights in startled fashion, and when he brought them down the glass cubicle was no longer empty.

A figure occupied it‚ a figure in a wheel chair!

It said nothing for a few moments, but it closed the book upon its lap and fingered it idly. And then it smiled, and the face seemed all alive.

It said, "I am Hari Seldon."

Nice chunk of story. Is the secret message has something to do with it. Couldn't you give any hints even the message length or anything else... sigh. Ü

The secret message lies in the stars.

if my previous assumption is right and what you mean is what I was mentioned..yeah,I see the stars...

But..I just didn't understand..

I just see some unarranged things...

There is sense and nonsense to their properties.
Remember, a message is made up of ordered alphabetical characters.
Find the different characters each in the proper order and you've won.

Thanks for the clues! But perhaps it would still be quite difficult for me to discover the message. (Look at the stars... arrange the characters in order...)

I'm pretty lost on this ._.

Do we need a specific browser / font / dpi / etc in order to decrypt this? Just want to make sure that I'm not wasting my time with incorrect settings or something along those lines.

FYI, it's an excerpt from one of Asimov's Foundation books. Another thing I found was that there's only one star per horizontal line (as far as I can tell). >_____>

horizontal lines?

I just see some stars and sentences..

@_@

what you mean with horizontal line contains ONE stars?

I see a lot of stars in horizontal..

Could one solve it by merely looking at the encrytped message (The excerpt with the background of stars)?

The text is meaningless. The stars are the message.
