Oh, my school's doing the same thing. You should start a recycling club in your class and tell others in your school about it. Write things like letters talking about the hazards and dangers of not recycling and how school is a big part of pollution. Also, pass around a paper to ask who would like to also start recycling in your school and neighborhood, and make sure you get a lot of signatures that will influence your school's school board to consider the option of being environmentally friendly. Hoped this helped. |

Yes, we're beginning to really expand green-wise. Also, our schools saving a bit of chuck-ching by not having to by too much paper, so it's nice. |

Well you advertise more cleaning processes to help make your school a better and cleaner environment. Might be a bit overboard and a bit expensive, but maybe something like t-shirts or a logo to represent your club would be attractive. My School is so messed up. It's like one thing after another; it's ridiculous! ------- |

I remember I did a project about recycling at school, and I hope my ideas can help your recycling program. Firstly, I make surveys just to collect very important information from students (and neighbours too). I learned a lot that only 50% took great responsibility in reducing waste (recycling) in protecting the environment. After that, I began to find information on recycling--- to support with the information from the survey. I made posters too, as a thing to bring awareness into students and teachers. That's as far as I went for my project. ^_^ |

I say corporal punishment for litterers with sponge weaponry. XD. Seriously though, how about giving a seminar about the effects of peoples waste on the environment that's direct to them. A lot of people just don't care because they think that it's just not affecting there personal space, so gather some intel and then show them that what are doing is affecting them. People are selfish, prey on it. |
