The last couple anime's that I've watched had TERRIBLE endings ('Shingetsutan Tsukihime') and even when I went to the completed manga (if it had one) and read the ending it sucked too ('Ichigo 100%'), so it got me thinking of the question above.... I'd have to go with 'Samurai Champloo' as having the best ending, it didn't leave you wanting more or scratching your head wondering what the author was thinking and where he/she hit their head  |

Anime's can't have any good endings :) an ending means the anime won't continue anymore, so that's bad ^^

For me it is hard to find an anime with a good ending, for example Gantz hahahaha hohoho hahaha it was the worst ending ever!... so far one of the best endings I've seen is not an anime but a live action movie, the Ending of Death note the last name was pretty cool, I like that ending more than the anime and manga. Elfen Lied was kinda cool as well but it always leaves you wanting to see more.   |

Maybe Shuffle!. I love how it ended. But still, I want Tenjou Tenge to be done with what it started. And, please, don't tell me it's already done, coz I don't see the ending. |

I'm watching 'Fate/Stay' right now so I hope your right I thought 'Cowboy Bebop's ending was very good as well (him falling on the steps as the shooting star passed overhead) I didn't like the 'Fruits Basket" ending though, it left so many questions about which guy Toru was going to fall for and what was the deal with that Kyo dude... |

Why..how did Fruit Basket ended? I've read about it in Wikipedia and it stated till the last bit of what happened to the characters...but I'm not particularly sure whether it's for manga only or both to the anime... I don't think I like Tsubasa Cronicles ending..it's just hanging....how I wish it'll continue... |

Doesn't Tenjou Tenge finish in the OVAs? I aint seen em yet, but I'm pretty sure there's a big tournament in two of the OVAs. If you can keep with the plot and not lose your mind doing so, Outlaw star has a pretty good ending; especially in contrast with all the weird fights and stuff that happens beforehand.  |

This is a hard one, no one really wants an a good ending. As already stated, it means it's ending. It also depends on what your sense of good is, I love cryptic style endings. Right now my favorite Season ending is Higurashi (Season 2). I loved the series and the ending was acceptable in my terms. A personal favorite ending would be School Days. I like seeing final justice served. Kiddy Grade was also pretty good, DearS and Chobits left a lot of questions. Kodomo no Jikan lefting you wanting a LOT more personally.

Cowboy Bebop Chrno Crusade Trigun Basilisk Legend of Black Heaven Samurai Champloo This is all only in my opinion, but these series all had good endings.  |

Air Blood+ Deathnote Each has a ending that an event totally prevents continuation without a total deviation from the events that occurred. Also brings closure on loose ends while letting room for fan fiction on alternate characters to continue. |

I have to say i think the WORST ending of any anime was 'Trigun', i mean 20 minutes of it was flashback! That was another problem with 'Ouran High School Host Club', for like 6 episodes they went into long flashbacks for most of if not all of the episodes, if your going to flashback you should spread it out throughout the series so that it'll give the character some sort of mystery |
