hey guys I need your help. This is my problem, when I open My Computer and then open drive c or any drive instead of the folder opening, a box pop up saying that I need to choose a program to open it. I don't know what to do with it. In the folder options I restore everything but it does not correct the problem. So what should I do? Is it in the registry? Please help me guys. Thanks.

what is linux? ---------- If I'm not mistaken the problem is that I should make explorer.exe the default. So that if I open the folder it will automatically open, not with those open with box to show up. But I don't know how to do it, to make explorer.exe the default one.

i think its not your reg prob.... first, you open folder option in control panel then select the option show hidden items and show system and protected files then right click the C drive and select explore, in your C: you will see a file named autorun.inf, okay delete it and that solves the problem....and not to forget to hidden the system files again in the folder option.. unless that you have virus in your computer and you have to clean or format it...

Okay that's the trick, but yeah maybe your system files are infected by a virus. It's useless to delete the autorun.inf file, cause it might regenerate again... Better to scan your PC, with an updated anti virus, or a clean format will do the trick... (better pack up the important files) XD And yeah... What is Linux?  |

at last the problem was corrected. My laptop had a virus. I guess that's the problem. So thank you very much guys for the help.
