| Does anyone ever tried to make their own video game (any genres for consoles or PC)? Please share your knowledge with me. |

It depends how you class video games. I have made platform games and basic 3D graphical games from scratch but that takes an age especially if you are new to it. I suppose im quite new to this sort of thing so i ma trying different genres and styles out right now. Let you know if i progress further.

| hoenstly, your team is the #1 thing. if you and your team hate each other, there is no chance. and you need some sort of skill or contribution. mine is sound engineering and Soncpet drawing. |

Finally some replies, thank god. @Phoenix Would you mind if I ask you to share some things about your recent project? Mine was an action RPG with political issues oriented storyline. I used "was" because some guy in Blender community (that's the software I'm currently using) said that RPGs are the hardest ones to make for a beginner. Not that quit though. Just unsure of my own optimism. @Dr. Derek Audio skill is my strong point too but about the team, it just went down to myself recently. All those "I'll-help-you-but-it's-not-certain-yet" people just got their boring jobs. I guess it's the best bad news I ever had. |
