Live action <=> Anime

I love Hollywood movies, and I think anime rocks! But I'm tired trying to enjoy them both together. Sooooo....what if my favorite anime had a live action movie version, and vice-versa? What do u think? Which anime would u like to see as a movie? And which movie would u like as an anime?  --> |

I presume you have not seen Fist of the North Star as a live action movie in the west... Almost blasphemy to think of even making a Hollywood movie based on an Anime show... Because it will probably end up as bad as how they make 99% of Game to Hollywood movies... That Hollywood DBZ movie reeks of fail... and that Tekken movie? already a failure... Hollywood seems to have acquired The Uwe Virus..  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

if it was a hollywood movie turned into an anime, i'd like to see Pirates of the Caribbean to be an anime and so with the seeker: the dark is rising. if it was not a hollywood movie, i'd love to see the classic and my tutor friend 1 and 2 (korean movies) turned into anime and if it was the other way around, I'd like to see Ouran High School host club in live action! (series or movie would do ^_^) and so with Tsubasa Chronicles ^_^ and about these, i think NANA has the best anime and live movie versions ^_^  |

well said lu bu and that trailer had a mad max meets mortal kombat feel to it in a crappy kind of way hahaha anyway why are people so worked up getting a live action version of their favorite anime even if the anime version is far more superior? and even after seeing the disasters of "game" movies,people still want more...are they hoping for a gem like "transformers" or more crap like the DBZ hong kong movie or those "game" movies... |

Live-action to anime, anime to live-action. Well, the Japanese made some animes that turned into live-action shows so they can do what they want. But, if US did that, that will be wierd. Imagine DBZ, Evangelion, DoA, and Street Fighter that was made by US. I don't want to imagine if DBZ will be made by US.   Follow the road you believe in --> |

wey...i simply lovede evangelion and iwas extremely excited when i found out that there will be a live action movie, but i hope i wont be dissapointed as i was with death note movie 1 and 2 which were no longuer related to the anime. they say dbz live action has a good cast but im preety sure it will only end up in degrading the anime and dissapointing the fans as for the eva live action its a mecha which will be ok but the caracters are too complex to have actors play them and still give you that anime feeling i honestly hope theyll do theyr best with those movies...the fans deserve at least that...and i honestly hope they wont just make another crapy movie that you can watcsh every day at 11 am with all the family including 3 year olds that dont like violence see you later 仙水 |

i always check the 4 genres =manga, anime, jdorama, and movie, if there are special releases ill take them too. it depends on my type of ep, Nodame C. already has a good following on all genres, so i am in it too. GTO and Gokusen made good eps on anime and live action, with good accolades from the otaku community. so i like those too. as a die hard fan, well i have to admit i have to collect all. too bad someone did not like the deathnote movies, but i do praise them for good acting and trying to keep up with the deathnote world. i said this before on some other post, that hollywood is trying to hav a pice of the anime/jdorama genre - DBZ is sure one of them. i even heard they will make a live movie of astroboy. what can we do about it they have lots of money to get the licensing and all... |

Nodame C is one of the best live actions I've watch (haven't watch too many of those)... anime was equally fun. Maybe I should go try the manga too!  |

@can i fly? you better watch it now or you'll miss half of your life :) NC's manga is a little boring, because the theme is about music but how can u hear it in manga? but it is advanced thats why you must read it too. the anime now has a paris special coming soon. for live action - they're already there! i saw the EVA fake trailers, good job though. hope the live movie will not be disappointing. |

Yup!!! I've watch the live action specials and drama le... gyaboooo!!! Haven't got to watch the Eva movie... i wonder if is gonna be a re-make of the main story..I think I'll give it a miss (cause I've seen the series, the older movies, the manga... have enuf of the original storyline x3) |

they said that Blood:the last vampire will be make as a hollywood movie this year and i already saw a person who will be acting as Saya too. i really want to see this movie very very... :p  |
