No. The fact that you have a computer that even uses that ancient RAM Technology means your computer is seriously old. I bet it's probably about 1999-2000 when that computer was made. Most likely your motherboard isn't equipped to use DDR Standards. Let alone to mix different kinds of RAMs together.

Final Conclusion: Get a new computer.

Well i just checked Ebay and they had tons of RDRAM for sale i don't know how much RAM you need to upgrade to. But what i recommend is to buy a new computer all together it would be literally cheaper on the long run. The computer doesnt have to be super good. For 200$ u can get 1GB RAM, AMD X2 3800+,160GB HD and case mobo n a DVD rom drive. The RAM itself for 2 256 MB would cost over 150$.

RDRAM is a relic from back when Pentium 4s were the best thing around. I'm going to agree with GMSniper and recommend that you just get a new computer, since although RDRAM is old, it's still expensive. REDICULOUSLY expensive considering RAM nowadays goes for 2-1GB sticks for less than $100 and RDRAM is at least quadruple that price.

RDRAM is now phase-out. I don't know it will be born again or come back. But for sure, this is the RAM that phased-out easily.

There are many disadvantage of installation of this kind of RAM. And also, there are also legal issues and action during Year 2002-2004 againts the manufacturers of this RAM, that's why they put this kind of hardware to the trash-can and dump it straight to HELL.

1. It's so expensive.
2. You must put the RAM in pair (2 RDRAM, 2 DUMMY in a 4 RAM Socket)
3. Unlike other RAMs, you can't put 1 RDRAM in one PC.
4. All RAM Socket/Channels must be filled up with paired RDRAM and put paired DUMMY if there is not enough RDRAM to put on in the RAM Socket/Channels.
5. Heatsink is OK, but this kind of RAM is WEAK!

It is better to change your motherboard compatible in your CPU, or change your System Unit so that your PC will become compatible with some new RAMs except RDRAM.

heres the thing it does exist but its no longer commonly used its out dated all computers not have a newer generation of ram and so your best bet is to buy it from ebay or amazon some where where you can buy things from other people. most stores dont carry it ne more
