Now , it's Kanokon ep.1 =__=*

So far , Myself ,Yourself ep 1-6 seems to be playing fine . But when I started downloading the ep 7 , the anime started to play slow (Like it's jerking) and it made the whole player go slow (Closing the player , even stopping it is a problem) . I did download a Matroska Pack . Then , I re-download the anime to check how much it downloads , and only downloads like 99.9% and not 100% , and done (for a 170MB show , it only download up to 169MB only) What's wrong ? Is it me or anything else wrong ? |

Were you still using the same source to dL episodes 1-6 before? I had this problem maybe once or twice before, but the source I was using was just really busy. I tried again a few minutes later and it finished. ![]() ------- |

Source ? You need to explain it to me , I don't the meaning of 'source' for PC and internet related . I download all of them at animesheep.com . The first 6 was xvid type , which is the common type I have for every video I've downloaded , but when it comes to ep 7 , the video type is no longer xvid , but it's something else (I've deleted the files already) , and it can't be played smoothly with all the players I had (MPC , Media Player , Winamp) I did re-download the show again , and again , and again with the same result , complete with 1MB missing (Re-downloaded for about 12 times already , normal download and torrent download) . I can understand if it's busy (no forcing) but this problem seems to continue on and on (other anime like Clannad and Rental Magica has no problem at all) If the info ^ is what you mentioned is source you're meaning , that's all I know . But I'm not sure if that is what you're trying to ask for . |

Source was only meant by what site did you get the anime off of. Since it's here, Sheep can probably help you more than I can. I would also dL VLC or a better player than the ones you're using there. ![]() ------- |

Thank you DA for the initial support! ^^ As DA mentioned VLC, as linked on animesheep.com, is the player of choice to play your anime with, and should play the mkv's fine. Now I dunno exactly what your problem is, the 1MB missing, but doesn't seem like anybody else is having it otherwise they might have mentioned it. You are right that eps 7-10 from Myself Yourself are suddenly in mkv, this looks like a mistake made on ep 7, and then continued. Indeed, Sheep is human too ;p For the sake of consistency I fixed it though and eps 7-10 are now available in avi.

Ok , I understand ^^ . Sorry to cause you such trouble ^^ . But now a new problem appeared , with Kanokon episode 1 =__=* When I download it (like twice) and play it on my WMP and MPC , it brings out the weird yet mysterious lines on the right of the show (similar to the Myself Yourself episodes problem) . SO , I use VLC (Darn those overlapping subtitles >.<) , suprisingly , it still have those 'lines' on the right of the show . Is there a problem with this episode ? I downloaded the following episodes (episode 2 onwards) but it does not show the same problem as before , and it plays just fine =__=* (WMP , MPC and VLC) And a side question , how do you make those VLC subtitles to not to stack on each other (e.g : when two people talk at once , two subtitles should appear , but those subtitles somehow ..... 'glued' to each other) and appear like the subtitles done when played on WMP and MPC ? Or should I get a better player (like DA said) and where should I get one better than VLC ? |

That's the problem with VLC and why the majority of fansubbers don't like it. VLC isn't very good with "softsub" support. You can't do anything about the overlapping subtitles because VLC uses its own built-in filters so none of the codecs/filters you install otherwise will effect it at all (like how you installed matroska pack etc, useless with VLC). To get around it, you need a better video player (MPC or zoom player will do) and you need the right codecs/filters. This is coming from my assumption of years ago, perhaps VLC has changed since then I wouldn't know, I've never gone back to it. A quick search at animesheep shows that Kanokon episode 1 is in high resolution (1024x576) compared to the following episodes which are in low res (704x396). That will explain your problem as it will be more computer intensive for playback. If you're unsure as to exactly what you need, just uninstall all your codec packs and install CCCP instead (which is also linked at animesheep). Oh and btw, instead of redownloading the episode multiple times for missing just 1 MB etc, load it up on torrent as it will check for missing pieces/errors. |
