Legend of Dragoon Vs Final Fantasy

Has anyone here ever played Legend of Dragoon on the PS? This was the very first PS game i bought. (It happen to be my first RPG too!) I felt that it had a very rich gameplay and the tunes werent bad at all... The graphics for the game, at that point of time, was superb... (though it may look "squarish") Oh well considering it took 3 years to make... So how do you ppl feel abt this RPG compare to the Playstation's Final Fantasy Series? Better? I have seen many conclusions regarding this topic... Some say FF is better... Some say the other way... Sigh... What do you ppl really feel? And if LoD is the better game, should there be a sequel?  |

My goodness, you came and faced 2 great titans I have already played Legend of the Dragoon, it make grow roths on my feet, and believe me, this game ROX!!!!!! But I'm a Final Fantasy Fan to tha core, so, I say all final fantasies (except FF9) beat this game |

i have to agree with gendou-san. ^__^ but of course, i love all the final fantasy series. just that this game's storyline's the best! (for me) ive played legend of dragoon as well, and it was really good ^_^ sequel to lod? hm, i guess it wouldnt be bad.. |

| I think that the Final Fantasy series is a lot better. In LOD you can only care a certain amount of items. I think it was 32 items (potions, elixers, magic stones, etc..). That annoyed the hell out of me. but the story was good enough for me to continue playing though. |

ok LOD was quite good but had lots of flaws like what Razgriz said about the items man what if u ran out in a battle and ur a a loosing point then game over. ok turning to dragons that was cool though at lvl 1 it only lasts for 1 turn.and the combo system was kinda hard 4 some ppl hitting d button at d right tym. well the story was good. But Final Fantasy 2 words d best especiay FF7 go Vincent well a sequel to LOd would sound nice |:-}

Oh well the main problem with LoD was that I didn't know that those shiny lights with butterflies around them were save points until i reach disc 4! Suffered loads of major repeating! I SUFFERED!! Did they game explain anything on these save points?!?! Or maybe it's just that i didnt notice... |

o.0 that was brutal man. i feel your pain. they explained the save point thingy at the start of the game; around the time they teach you how the fights work |

A bit too late though ice18... I suffered hell at the part where you have to fight Lavitz until you reach the Divine Tree( something like that )... Over and over again... but thanx aniwae... Should have paid more attention... |

FF6 does own. So does FFT. LOD was really good. Seemed to me to be really similiar to FF7 in gameplay and graphics, though.. just some wierd conception I guess. Hey koshiro, do you remember how many hours you spent getting to that point when you DID save? lol |

I spent about 3 weeks and had to repeatedly watch Cooloon die again and again and again... Finally i decided to buy the guidebook... and finally... it's over... Oh yeah not only cooloon... i had to watch the dead lavitz impaling himself with his spear over and over again... it's sad... Aniwae at the time, i only know how to save in the world map... And once you climb Lavitz's light thingy, there was no more world map! that's how i got 3 weeks aniwae if anybody wish to know... |

| LOD got so repetitive for me that while I was playing it, I get drowsy from time to time. Thank goodness the battle kinda keeps me awake. FF9 was so easy that most of the time when I'm fighting enemies and lvling up, I just set my commands to memory and just walk aimlessly in a field to fight enemies. When a battle comes up, all I do is tap the "enter" command and just keep doing that to lvl. Since I do this repeatedly, I just switch to T.V. and lvl up at the same time ^^b |

FFVI is the best final fantasy game, and FFX was better than L.O.D. Thus logistics say that FFVI > L.O.D.  |

Hmmm lemme see 1 game of LoD or a whole series of FF? i pick FF since 7-12 is cool and 7 movie was cool looking too. |

I think LOD is pwnful it was my first RPG also. I loved playing but in the middle of the third disc it got too hard for me so i copyed my brothers file and beat the game HE HE HE HE. anyways I also think the FF games are fun too i haven't played any 3D ones yet the series and stuff are cool.
