I'm taking computer programming courses in college, and we're using Eclipse CDT to write programs. I need help setting up the program in Windows Vista. It needs to be able to write programs in C++. I have it installed, but I can't figure out how to get the program to work in the C++ perspective. Thank you for any help.

Check the Software compatibility list of Windows VISTA about it. I'm sure Eclipse is not yet compatible to run under VISTA because of some incompatibility issues in .DLL and some sort of Windows Signature. 90% of some Freeware and Open Source Application doesn't run under Windows VISTA.

I would, but several of my classmates have Vista on their laptops, and they can get it to work just fine. I've tried what they've suggested, but none of it worked.
