Ok i have a question! In the rules of File size of avatars and signatures it says it is cumulatively. ok i get it is like mine i put one icon i have to be: Icon file size + sig file size = or less of 100kb but i put plus the file size of my avatar? like: Avatar file size + signature file size = or less them 100kb? Interpretation question ^^;   |

You mean to ask whether the file size limit is for signature+icon only or +avatar too? I believe it's the latter one.   |

Not stopping you from getting another opinion from someone else, but here's something from my own experience: I once put up an ava whose file is indeed big, but didn't exceed 100kb. So I put it up, but some days later, a mod removed it. The sum of my sig at that time + the ava turns out to be more than the limit. Well, Gendou knows the best about his site, so he must have the answer... |

Your signature does not only consist of the larger area image file. It's whatever image(s) are you used in the "Signature" area on your profile. I don't think it matters what you put inside your signature, as long as they fit the pixel limts (600 x 100) and the size limits (100 KB together). Also, I think it's "avatar" + "signature", together, so it doesn't matter if your avatar is bigger than the icon or the image next to it when you're talking about file size.My current avatar is bigger than my icon in my signature, but I'm still within the 100 Kb limit, so I think I'm okay. (Quote from Is there a file size limit on the images in my signature/nickname? rule): The images linked to in your signature/nickname should not exceed 100kbs total. I'm guessing by that alone, it's both of them together, so they work together, so their file sizes are totaled together. The "icon" is just something extra GFX designers choose to add into their signature. There is not a rule towards them alone. "Icons" can be extra. "Icons", "logos", whatever is in your signature, is your entire signature together. For instance, if you've joined a club and have to put your club logo into your avatar, if your avatar is already 200 px/wide, your avatar will be removed for breaking the width limit. If the logo is, let's just say 50 px/wide, and your avatar is 150 px/wide, then together they equal 200 pixels (both are 25 px/height), which would be okay. I hoped I helped out a bit here. Might of gotten a bit irrelevant as well. D:
