Animax in the Philippines has gone WILD!

May 6, 2005 was the Animax Robo Dream 2005 Convention and was held inside the Glorietta Activity Center... share your thoughts and experiences if you have been there! There have been a figurine competition which brought out thousands of Mobile Suit Gundam fans to be artistic in the making... A Cosplay competition which pulled out the true Anime spirit from the people who joined which may I say was really funny and creative of them especially the kid who impersonated himself as a Mobile Suit... Also there was an art contest for the kids who are itching to color and post their cute drawings... And to top that, the creator of the Gundam Saga, renowned Inoue Koichi visited the convention and held a meet and greet autograph signing... This has been something after the first Animax Convention and news coming in are saying that Animax will try to do this often.

I was thinking of seeing Yoshiyuki Tomino, but I guess that was too much. Me and my workmates dropped by during our lunch break.

wasn't there, i'm from way down Davao and I don't remember if I was already in manila during that time... maybe I was in HK ^^ still, I am SOO sad that there's no Animax here *sigh* I so want it since I have watched Animax in Manila and it's SOO nice that's it's an all-anime channel... *sigh* (makes me even more sad...) ;_;    m y .
