Mai HiMe Next Stage!!!!!

This is old news but still i wanna know what you guys think. According to reports on Moon Phase, a 2nd season of My-Hime, "My-Hime Next Stage," is currently in the works. The heroine of this season is Arika, a character that showed up at the end of the first season. No details on release time frame was given yet. Thanks to taneyldp for this info. so... When they say Arika they mean Akira right? Girl that pretends to be a guy ninja chick =) I rather have Mistuki Kuga be the main char for the next series lol. Well What you think next season goanna be like? i rally don't know how they could make it better... |

They should rename the title... from Mai Hime, to Arika Hime, LOL. I dunno what will happen, but I wanna see more of Kuga Natsuki and Fujino Shizuru romance!! <3 <3 <3 Hehe, they're so cute. ======================================================== |

Mai Hime was one of those series that I thought ended just fine, like there is no reason to create a second season, or anything that I can think of how they can create it, the story is over... why dont they take thier time and create a second season of Beck, Tenjou Tenge, Elfen Lied and all the others that had no real ending

I thought Beck was a fine ending lol also some forshadowing when he said "thanks you for saving Beck" at the beggining and the ending of the series.... But yea i would like to know what happens after the ending Of beck the TV series but if ur intrested in knowing now just read the manga =P They did make some OVA to tenjou tenge and Elfen Lied lol.... But they still left us in the dark lol. |

I've read the manga to Beck, which why I think the ending was crap, so much more happens and I want to hear all the great music... though this thread is about Mai HiME, which ended cause the HiME star is gone, no more HiMEs... right?

But the HiME Star was destroyed, Lord Kokuyou dead, the festival over, without the star the girls cant use thier affection to call out thier childs... its done.. or at least I thought. The ONLY thing that didnt happen was Tate and Mai kissing, and if they need an entire season to do that... then thats going to suck

| Ahhh no need to make a sequel...they should just make a few OVAs of Tate and Mai spending time together with the girls or what not....I think the ending to Mai Hime was enough already... |

well in another forum someone was saying that there could be a different source for the HiMEs now... as happy as i am about a second season, i don't really think that it'll be able to compare with the first season... unless the characters return! :D plus the new girl doesn't look all that interesting, but we'll see when it comes out...

what on earth... arika yumemiya is NOT MAI AND TATE'S CHILD... i wont release spoilers, but what i can tell you is, mai-hime and mai-otome is NOT RELATED. well, it's quite obvious that they used some old characters, and changed their names... mai does not exist in the 2nd season, okay, she exists, but she's a "legendary" character. as for tate-kun, there is a character that looks quite similar to him, named Sergay Wang. the 2nd season of mai-hime features a definately different story, and trust me, THEY ARE NOT RELATED. >.< however, it's quite enjoyable watching that series... i'm on episode 15, waiting for arika to be materialized... >.<
