| it depends on the times for me, but a lot of times i still like clamp x's sadame and listening to the credits on vampire hunter d bloodlust. i guess you can say im a nut when it comes to orchestra pieces. |

Something with mellow melodies and strong content/singer should do the trick (y'know, the type that makes you understand even though you don't know exactly what they are saying). I also like chants and latin songs.

| Well wat do I like? Truthfully, I my self dont really know. As long as the song is nice or just average(meaning that its not nice but so so) then I will listen. Thats why most of the songs that I really dont like are deleted. Wats left are only nice or merely average songs. |

i tend to like music closer to the rap rock end of the spectrum the hardest stuff i like is 2 dream theatre songs the softest is probably some of orange range's pop stuff |

| I usually like something with lyrics that appeal to me. I mainly like most kinds of rock, classical, Celtic, and some forms of techno, but I love almost anything with violins in the song. ^^; |

| Well, I'll listen to anything, but screamo/emo anime music is awesome to me. Asian Kung-fu Generation, Polysics, Stance Punks are the shiznit, but the song also has to have shnazzy lyrics in it as well...Heh. |

pop, sometimes slow rock....i don't like techno , or whatever other beside pop. but first....the melody must fit to my style....usually i want the ref and first line song both good , not only in the ref line....
kid these days doesn't know the difference between "true anime" and "anime for marketing purpose"

I pretty much listen to everything, in my collection I have good amounts of cassical, bluegrass, country, techno, rock, jazz, rap, pop, punk, ska. If its good and stirs up some kinda emotion in me I like it. Only thing I dont like is easy listening. Right know I have been overplaying System of a Down's new album

mm.. i like good voice/mellow music, or stuff that give off a relaxing mood. stuff like jazz, r&b, none heavy rap, lounge?(im still not sure wut that means) I prefer a female voice more ussually. And my favorite songs are ones that are sung with a very crisp, clear, non-digitally messed up or guitared or techno beated up voice. mmm that doesnt make sense... ok ok, i DONT like emphasis on background music, and i don't like fake/squeeky/slothy voices, i don't like shouting, and i ussually don't like very upbeat stuff. mmm... that works and i don't like engrish in my jap songs. |

As long as the lyrics is enlightening... it would be worth the listening for me... :D

*shrugs* I honestly like anything and everything that tickles my fancy. Especially if I wasn't expecting to like it so much. For example - the first time I heard the theme to Chrono Cross, "Scars Left By Time", my jaw dropped. Quite literally. ;D

I like a fair bit of music, not so much the genre that decides if I like it, but the song itself. Most of the music I listen to is comprised of Japanese music, more often than not from the animé I watch, so a lot happens to be J-pop. As well as other show OSTs, lots of music from games (ie Xenogears/Sonic the Hedgehog and so forth). I do happen to like rock and such, and sad-type songs, classical music, and even some punk, but the majority of my music is softer more "Lovey-dovey" Japanese music. :D I listen to a lot, many of which get me the O_o of all looks. :D

I like Japanese Music!^_^ well, i listen mostly to female singers...i prefer mellow,pop, and a bit classical accompanied by piano or violin...or you can say just a solo piano and violin would do...let just say that i like classical too ^_^...i also like techno...like KOTOKO's...i like jumpy song but mellow in some way...like Round Table...not a really fan of J-rock but there are some that i like...oh yeah i like game OSTs as well...namely FFX-2, Xenosaga series & Chrono Cross.  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |
