Prince of Tennis THE TWO SAMURAI

The Synopsis   The regular players from Seigaku participates in an exhibition game aboard a cruise ship. However, they discover that the event is being run by a corrupt millionaire heavily involved in illegal gambling and betting, who demands that they lose the match on purpose. To add to the confusion, one of the players on the rival team introduces himself as Ryoma's brother. He seems to have a fascination for oranges (or stealing them from Ryoma). Ryoma has a low opinion of his brother, and shows this mostly by ignoring him. Ryoga's character in the movie mainly emphasizes the tragedy of having no particular goals to strive for. Meanwhile, he spends his extra time with a shady crowd, playing the role of Captain to the rival tennis team. He and Ryoma have their first real match on the cruise ship.  |

... did not really like this movie. The tennis matches were good, and so was the animation, but I thought the ending was WAY too dramatic. I'm fine with the regular PoT matches, but when thunder and lightning crashes, and golden light bathes our hero in holiness, I draw the line. Where in the original series was Ryoma's brother, anyway? |

the effects were good but the story was more of a filler... can't really say that its nice... :( |

When I first saw it, I couldn't help thinking that Ryoma and Ryoga looked too alike to be adopted siblings. Of course I also spent half the time cooing over little Ryoma. He was adorable! But the general plot was good, a little too dramatic, but good. The matches were well thought out, the animation was splendid. I have no real complains except that they didn't say why Ryoga was even adopted, anything about the boy's past, and why did he leave? |

Sometimes AniPuri is was too dramatic for my liking. just like this movie. It seems that the strong ocean's winds don't disturb them maneuvering the balls. Sure the effects are awesome, but that's that. It's like the creator of the movie doesn't have any plot. Personally, I think this movie is disappointing. *sigh* |

ooo...i had seen it...quite nice, lorr..nee, i remember read it sumwhere on d net ...they say dat ryoga is nanjiroh's love-child...ngee, i really dun believe it but since nanjiroh is a little bit pervert...so, could be d statement is true...but ryoga no yatsu and ryoma-sama do looka alike....alot...  |

Nah...the best part..or rather the part I LIKED besides the "little Ryoma part" was when they were kidnapped!! I like it that way you know..hehehe

Well...I kinda get bored easily...and the last fight's too unrealistic so I lost interest to watch it again. :( |

the main storyline was awesome... but... they turned a completely cool anime into [crap] for the movie. the anime series was logical right up till the movie where they started making the scences really fake and impossible/unlogical, ex. cyclone smash and higuma ootoshi... (dunt even wanna say anything about the [naked] ryoma...) its so NOT possible to play tennis underwater and in mid-air. you try it. cant, right? exactly. im disappointed in the movie creaters. just so you know, im not critisizing the anime series, it is one of my favorites. its just that they made the movie so unrealistic and dramatic i gotta complain. sorry if i angered some of you who loved this movie. im just saying what i thought about it. |

if u guys wana watch it buy the original cd cos there r lotsa bonus there and i love it... <33 in the cd the characters and their bio were shown soo cool.. i get to see sengoku whenever i want toxDD but the movie suckd xDD ooh yeh.. the series is great but the movie suckd :x

i suppose it was ok, Ryoga looks like an older version of Ryoma XD i find that kinda funny but they exagerated to much >.< if they didn't, i think i would have liked it better
