Using iPhone to listen to anime music :)

Hey! I've been a fan of gendou.com for several years now, popping up now and then to get some anime music, and recently I had this brilliant idea of streaming anime music directly from my newly purchased iPhone! Just when i tapped on a song, I was expecting to rejoice at my new found discovery, but safari on the iphone was unable to stream it. :( Could anything be done about this? This would be the perfect travelling combination! :) iPhone and a database full of anime songs. |

Right now, the download script sends songs as attachments, which prevents streaming. For bandwidth purposes, I considered this an important feature. It would be possible, of course, to add a streaming option in addition to download as attachment. Still, it is ideal to download the song once, so that you can play it over and over, day after day, until you get sick of it, or not, with no burden on the server's bandwidth. Since I don't have an iPhone, I can't do any testing, but it stands to reason you'd be able to download songs, too, right? Presumably, not many, and so it would be an unavoidably bandwidth-limited activity to listen to a large library of music. I will put this on my idea list, and see what I can come up with.

| Thanks so much for taking the idea into consideration! :) I understand the bandwidth issue you might face if streaming is allowed, but I do hope there is a way around it. :) I'll try to see what I can do on the iPhone side. Thanks! |
