Hello! Anyone who knows of good/great/amazing graphic novels that are easy to buy for a beginner like me?? Just so that so many fortunate people who don't w a good author/company/book series will not be as unfortunate as the people who have already bought the book and can't return it! :@ So please give your recommendations |

Easy to buy...? Um... you can find Naruto everywhere now, but I don't guarantee you'll like it. Bleach, too, is getting popular. It's a good series ^^ One of my personal favorites is Neon Genesis Evangelion, but it's hard to find these days because it's not as new as some others. Fullmetal Alchemist is always a good buy, because there's always an important piece in every volume. Ouran High School Host Club is shojo on crack, and it's always entertaining to read. So is Fruits Basket, which also contains an unbelievable storyline. |

I am not sure if they are easy to buy but I recommend 'Enchanter', 'Mahou Sensei Negima' and 'MxO'. 'School Rumble' and 'Spiral' are some that I haven't really read but heard is quite good. |

Hmm... best graphic novels for beginners... well, depends though what genre you like best, cuz that way can make your choice great enough. I recommend Bleach manga (if you are watching the anime version, not recommended to read cuz the content is changed a bit in the shows~ but it's good to read too). It's urban-trad fusion, along with humour that makes everyone says wtf. The action is amazing too, but way better in anime. I read another manga entitled 'Evil's Return' and it's worth reading. It's only has 4 volumes (yes, ain't lying) and its genre--- horror, action and humour-- and it's schoolkids who are the heroes. (Is school really that boring? Yay, I ain't crazy then!) Don't underestimate romcom shoujo-ai mangas! Last time I read A.I. Love You and I laughed my ass off. It's about a schoolboy who is a pro computer programmer. Then one day, he was working on something on his pc and suddenly a girl existed from his computer programming work. She was brought to life, mortal-like. And she's very kind and all, and beautiful too, which attracted the boy like mad. Very witty, urban and hilarious! |

Places? Do you live in the US? If so, you can go to all the major bookstores like Waldenbooks/Borders and Barnes and Noble to get stuff there. |

As far as manga series that are easy to buy, like Anna-san said, you can usually find a big selection of manga in major book stores. And even if they don't have it in stock, if they have the series listed on the store's website, they'll probably be able to order it for you and have it sent to the store location you want to buy it from. If you order a volume of a series, you'll probably have to wait about a week for it to come in. These are a few of my favorite manga series. I'm not sure which genre of manga you like to read, but maybe you would be interested in these. ^_^ ~The One I Love (Watashi no Sukinahito) ~Imadoki! ~Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne ~Full Moon wo Sagashite ~Pita-Ten ~Le Portrait de Petite Cossette |

I recommend Skip Beat!, since it's VERY good and everywhere, being recently printed. The only problem is that it's going to be more than 19 volumes, but it's worth it. Right now there's only 8 volumes printed in English though. |
