I thought of making a Discussion thread for Magic the Gathering a few days ago..So Anybody else play magic.I need help in making a new Deck...o.O  |

I used to play, something like 5 years ago. I'm not sure at all if I know how to play it anymore. Would be nice to refresh memories... And what comes to the help with a deck: I'm useless :D Anyway what colour(s) are you playing. I used to play blue because they had the coolest art in the cards for my taste! (Yes I consider _some_ Magic card illustrations as art:)) Hope you find your active players here! |

I used to play and I watch others play but I stopped very soon after I started because like every other card game, it costs way too much money to keep up.

| @dark: Ah yes it's bad when it goes to the phase where money matters. More money, more cards, better deck. -> but all the fun gone! |

Which is exactly why I stopped playihg Yugioh. I started when it frist came out and it was cool you actually needed to plan your moves and stuff and there wasn't huge monsters except for a few and you could still defend agaisnt them. But they kept plugging out more and more and they were more powerful each time which killed the stragagy of the game.

Buahahahaha, build a tribal elf deck, those are always fun to play around with XD have 4 lanawar elves, 4 fyndhorn elves, 4 wellwishers, 2 taunting elves, 4 wirewood elves, well...you get the point, there are better elves out there as well...but tribal elves are about mana getting and weenie attacks really fast...  |

| I played Magic for a while. I dominated with a blue Artifact deck. You could consider Artifacts, but often the negative effects are outweigh the positive. My best artifact creature required me to tap 5 blue mana, or tap the creature and lose 4 life! (That was for each turn!!) |

| I remember best thing about playing blue was those annoying counter spells, and prodigal sorcerers aswell:DDD ReAlLy annoying cards for the enemy! |

GAH! I hate blue. It's a pussy deck in my opinion. Nothing but counter spells and control creature cards.

I wouldn't hate it soo much if other colors had counter spells. But blue is the only one that is chalk full of them.
