yu-gi-oh movie?

the one with the pyramid of light.. er.. i dont think i have to rant about the english dubbing o.0 well, the animation was beautiful.. clean! though when you watch it, it'll seem like a filler(which most movies of an anime series are, by the way) and i liked the japanese soundtrack, and in the english, i liked the songs How Much Longer and One Card Short ^_^ |

Well... I didn't think that the movie was nearly as good as the show. And I actally don't watch the show that much either ^^;; But the aniamtion was good, but the story seemed to bland. I mean, even the sailor moon movies had more plot... =/
And in this beautiful blurry vision the world stops and I turn, taking it all in.

I saw that movie when it was in theaters. I remember I got a Blue Eyes Shining Dragon (I believe that is the name of it). I no longer play the game or watch the show, but the manga is great. For some reason, after I saw this movie, I stopped playing the TCG...  |

I think YGO pyramid of Light is ssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooo BORING~~! I mean it is not even related to the series..............Hate it!

Atemu_Mana (Wow, that makes me feel bad for being a Yami no Yuugi cosplayer) - Fsst. Don't read the Yuugiou written novel, ever. Because you are never going to get the Hikari no Pyramid's (Japanese Dub) relation to the anime. Period. Just because it isn't related to the series doesn't give you a worthy enough explaination why to hate it. I come from GaiaOnline, opinions stated with reasons why are very appreciated. Ice18 - The Japanese soundtrack was ripped from the original anime series. Hikari no Pyramid isn't exactly a filler, the script writer for the anime tries his best to get the movie to fit in with Doma Organization and the novel. He wrote the script for the Japanese dub and the novel. All by himself. If Kazuki Takahashi did it, then I would be crying from trying to translate it. D: |

Hahaha Lira...I don't really meant it... I like Yami no Yugi or Atemu-chan very much...I love him!! I just say about the movie only...I don't like it. But I like the series!! Go Atemu-chan!!

I'd actually watched the english version (the only one I could get) on DVD. The graphics were good as some people mentioned below, and they actually showed some writing on the cards so we actually know what each card does. Either than that, the movie was just like a "long" episode of Yu-Gi-Oh.  |

yea, the movie was such a filler. The movie occured after Yugi got all Lord of Cards and was the best duelist around. Seto, was finding a way to defeat Yugi's Lord of CArds and asked for Pegasus' help. Pegasus gave in and gave Seto a card with a blue pyramid in it. CAn't really remember the card, sorry It's a magic card, by the way. ^_^ Anubis is involved in the story, for what reason, I can't remember. So much for the spoilers.... Correct me if I gave the wrong info cause I'm not hooked into Yu Gi Oh! during the time I saw the movie. :P |

@atemu_mana God of cards, neh? Didn't know that... The channel that airs Yu Gi Oh in our place dubbed it as Lord Of CArds. It doesn't matter, cause Lord is synonymous to God ^_^ |

I saw the trailer of the movie pyramid of light.. hope i can watch it too.. T_T and i also saw the ending of yugioh.. i cant believe that after all of Yami yugi's battles.. in the end he have to lose to another Yugi to go back in his time.. that doesnt seems fair.. i thought that in the end.. yugi and atem would them up to bit a bad guy to go back in his time.. but no.. instead of finishing it with a win.. it finish by loosing.. wwaaaaaa.. i think i cant accept it.. I think it's fair enough for both Atemu and Yugi. If Atemu's still resides with Yugi, then Yugi would never realize how strong he is(Yugi himself), and he would always hide behind Atemu. This is what Atemu trying to tell Yugi. And why would Atemu be in Yugi's world and time? In fact, he is Yugi's self 3000 years ago. He should return to his time back. That's why, I think it's fair for both of them. They leads each other life by themselves. I also don't want Atemu to go but hence, he must go.
